How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 169 — full solution
- With Hammer, Purple 10, Brown 14, Orange 8, and Cyan 25 already in the bays, let ants strip the exposed hat rim, scarf, and robe edges. Tap Light Blue 22 (front row, left), Cyan 26 (front row, right), and Hammer 35 (front row, centre) to uncover the second row.
- Tap Lilac 22, Blue 8, and the newly revealed Yellow 3 and Light Blue 18 in any order. The Orange 40 plank on the broom takes hammer damage down to 16 while yellow and blue ants clear the broom bristles and outer skirt.
- Send Blue 14, Purple 20, and Lilac 25 to the freed bays. Lilac ants begin eating down the Lilac 30 plank directly covering the robe, dropping its counter to 5 while blue ants continue clearing the witch's lower dress.
- Tap Black 28 and Beige 5 to break both the Orange 16 broom plank and Lilac 5 plank completely. Removing both planks exposes the underlying broomstick wood and dress layers, leaving two bays free.
- Tap Brown 15, Orange 16, and Light Blue 16 from the middle rows to strip the newly exposed broom handle and robe core. Follow with Dark Grey Hammer 35 and Hammer 42 to clear the remaining black outline pixels.
- Tap Beige 20, Lilac 26, Purple 24, and Blue 15 from the newly revealed grid rows. Hat, face, and dress pixels clear rapidly, leaving only the witch's face and upper hat tip with two bays open.
- Release Brown 16, Blue 34, and Black 28 to consume the witch's eyebrows, boots, and broom tip. The remaining stack in the grid is now completely empty.
- Allow the active Lilac 1, Beige 1, Black 3, and Brown 2 jars in the bays to consume the final few face and hat pixels until the board clears entirely.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Blue and Light Blue jars before the Lilac 30 plank is eaten → the robe pixels underneath remain locked, stalling your bays with zero exposed targets.
- Neglecting Dark Grey Hammer jars while the Orange 40 broom plank is active → leaves the broom bristles protected, blocking orange jars from finishing.
Quick tips for Level 169
- Hammer jars require Black pixels to charge; clear outer black outline pixels whenever a hammer jar occupies a bay.
- Numbered planks function differently: wooden planks require hammer strikes, whereas coloured planks like Lilac 30 require matching coloured ants.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts a witch riding a broomstick. The grid below holds tiered rows of jars that feed upward into five top bays.
- Goal
- Completely dismantle the witch pixel art by feeding coloured ants into all pixels and smashing two heavy planks.
- Opening
- Initial jars in the bays target the exposed hat, robe, and scarf outer borders to expose inner facial and broom layers safely.
- Trap
- Overfilling bays with Cyan and Light Blue before the Lilac 30 plank and Orange 40 plank are destroyed completely blocks bay turnover.
- Mechanic
- Dark Grey jars act as Hammer jars that hit the Orange 40 plank, while coloured planks are cleared directly by matching coloured ants.
Level 169 questions
-
How do I destroy the Orange 40 plank in Level 169?
Tap Dark Grey Hammer jars; their ants collect black outline pixels to charge hammers that strike the wooden plank until it breaks.
-
Why won't my Blue jars finish eating the witch's robe?
The robe core is trapped beneath the Lilac 30 plank. Send Lilac jars to eat that plank first before blue ants can reach the robe.
