Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-17
1. Summary
Level Sensei has no user accounts and does not ask you for personal information. The data described below is collected automatically by the infrastructure, analytics and advertising services that keep the site running.
2. What is collected and by whom
2.1 Server and security logs
Our hosting and CDN provider records standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) to serve pages and protect against abuse. These logs are retained for a limited period.
2.2 Analytics
We measure traffic with a privacy-focused analytics tool and/or Google Analytics. Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish sessions and report aggregate usage such as pages visited, approximate location and device type.
2.3 Advertising
We display advertisements served by Google AdSense and, potentially, other ad networks. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and device identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Third-party vendors' use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies.
2.4 Embedded video
Video walkthroughs load from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) and only after you press play. When you play a video, YouTube may set cookies and collect data under Google's privacy policy.
2.5 Local preferences
Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
3. Cookies and consent
Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), a consent prompt lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies before advertising or analytics cookies are set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site continues to work without them.
4. How the information is used
- To deliver pages and keep the site secure and reliable.
- To understand which games and levels readers need, so we prioritise coverage.
- To display and measure advertising that funds the site.
We do not sell walkthrough readers' personal information for money, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
5. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
5.1 Categories collected
In the past twelve months the services above may have collected: identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers), internet activity (pages viewed, referring URLs, interactions with ads), and coarse geolocation derived from IP address. We do not collect names, postal addresses, phone numbers, financial information or other sensitive personal information.
5.2 Sources and purposes
This information comes directly from your browser and from the analytics and advertising providers listed in section 2, and is used for the purposes in section 4.
5.3 Sharing
Identifiers and internet activity may be shared with advertising and analytics partners. Under the CCPA, allowing advertising partners to set cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out through the consent prompt where shown, via the Google Ads Settings link above, or by enabling the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we honour.
5.4 Your rights
California residents may request to know what personal information has been collected, request deletion, request correction, opt out of sale or sharing, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we hold no account data, most requests are handled by the third-party providers named above; we will help you route a request. Email hello@levelsensei.com.
5.5 Authorised agents
You may use an authorised agent to submit a request. We will ask for reasonable proof of the agent's authority.
5.6 Financial incentives
We offer no financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
6. Other regions
Residents of the EEA, UK, Brazil and other regions with privacy laws may have similar rights of access, deletion and objection. Email us and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.
7. Children
The site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Advertising on this site is configured accordingly.
8. Changes to this policy
We will post updates here and change the date at the top of the page.
