How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 168 — full solution

  1. Tap the Orange 30 jar, the Yellow 40 jar, the White 20 jar, and the Orange 30 jar from the front row. Ants strip the outer orange ground, outer yellow sky, and white cloud edges.
  2. Tap the Green 14 jar, the Yellow 10 jar, and the Blue 35 jar into the freed bays. Ants consume the exposed green foliage on the right tree and clear outer yellow and blue perimeter pixels.
  3. Tap the White 6 jar, the Orange 26 jar, and the Orange 14 jar. Ants strip the sun outline and edge ground tiles, steadily chipping down both plank counts.
  4. Tap the Yellow 9 jar, the Grey 20 jar, and the Cyan 5 jar. Ants consume remaining yellow background blocks and reveal the underlying grey and dark grey tones.
  5. Tap the Blue 16 jar, the Blue 21 jar, and the Dark Grey 3 jar. Ants chew into the lower borders of the dinosaur body and outer black-grey accents.
  6. Tap the Red 9 jar, the Red 28 jar, and the Yellow 24 jar. Ants devour the red sun disk, opening up the remaining central white clouds and yellow sky backdrop.
  7. Tap the Green 20 jar, the Blue 25 jar, and the Orange 19 jar. Ants clear the remaining lower ground and left greenery, fully breaking the planks.
  8. Tap the Cyan 19 jar, the Yellow 29 jar, the Red 10 jar, and the Blue 27 jar. Ants strip the neck and head of the dinosaur alongside the final red and yellow accents.
  9. Tap the Green 12 jar, the Green 15 jar, the Red 4 jar, and the Orange 6 jar. Ants remove the leftover neck highlights and peripheral border details.
  10. Tap the final Yellow 15 jar, the Dark Grey 5 jar, and the Blue 6 jar. Ants clear the remaining tail pixels and inner dark pixels to finish the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping large Blue jars at the very start → Blue pixels make up the dinosaur body enclosed by the sky and ground, so blue jars stall in bays and cause an early game over.
  • Tapping Dark Grey jars before outer scenery is peeled away → Dark Grey lines sit behind the dinosaur body and cannot be eaten until the surroundings are gone.

Quick tips for Level 168

  • Focus on Yellow, Orange, and Green jars first because the sun, sky, and ground occupy the outside layer.
  • Keep at least two bays free whenever opening deep blue and dark grey colours in the stack.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel picture of a blue long-neck dinosaur standing in front of a red sun, green trees, and yellow sky. Two planks (1400 and 1500) cover the lower legs and left tail area. Beneath are five bays and a deep grid of coloured jars.
Goal
Clear all 1500 pixels of the pixel dinosaur portrait by matching ant jars to uncovered edge pixels.
Opening
Tap the Orange 30 and Yellow 40 jars in the front row, as orange ground and yellow sky have completely exposed outer borders.
Trap
Tapping Blue 35 or other blue jars too early stalls bays because the blue dinosaur body is largely shielded by the surrounding yellow sky, green trees, and orange soil.
Mechanic
Wooden planks protect underlying pixels and count down as adjacent blocks and designated hits remove layers.

Level 168 questions
