How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 167 — full solution
- Tap the Cyan 20 jar (front row, left), Blue 25 jar (front row, second left), Light Blue 45 jar (front row, second right), and Blue 25 jar (front row, right). These clear the outer blue and cyan ocean water surrounding the submarine hull.
- Release the Cyan 20 jar, Grey 12 jar, and Dark Grey 28 jar from the newly accessible front positions. As water tiles dissolve, Orange and Yellow jars become exposed, and the bottom-left Plank counter drops from 3 to 2.
- Tap the Orange 20 jar (row 2, right) and Yellow 17 jar (row 2, centre), followed by incoming Light Blue 45 jars. Ants begin eating the submarine's perimeter trims and window frames while Light Blue cleans up ocean patches.
- Deploy the revealed Orange 13 jar and Light Blue jars into open bays. The ants strip the orange trim and remaining border water along the top and lower hull, leaving two bays free.
- Tap the Dark Grey 35 and Dark Grey 22 jars along with the Yellow 20 jar. Dark Grey ants consume the conning tower pixels and propeller brackets, bringing the bottom-left Plank counter down to 1.
- Send the White 5 jar, Cyan 44 jar, and Light Blue 12 jar into the bays. Stripping these pixels completely breaks the bottom-left Plank, exposing the cluster of tiles underneath.
- Tap the Yellow 20 jars, Orange 30 jar, and White 11 jar to devour the exposed submarine body and the newly revealed bottom-left seabed pixels, leaving only conning tower remnants.
- Deploy the final Light Blue 35, Dark Grey 35, and Blue 30 jars to clear out the remaining conning tower, window glass, and propeller tiles to finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Yellow 17 jar in the opening before clearing Cyan and Blue water → Yellow pixels are completely enclosed inside the submarine hull, causing the jar to stall indefinitely.
- Ignoring Dark Grey jars while the Plank is active → pixels trapped under the 3-hit wooden plank cannot be cleared until Dark Grey removes the conning tower.
Quick tips for Level 167
- Always exhaust background water colors (Cyan, Light Blue, Blue) from the outside edges inward before activating interior subject colors.
- Keep at least one bay open when clearing around planks so the newly uncovered colors can be matched immediately.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts a yellow submarine underwater, framed by cyan and blue ocean tiles, with a 3-hit wooden plank sitting over the bottom-left corner.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel tiles from the picture board, including the tiles sealed beneath the 3-hit plank.
- Opening
- Start by tapping the front-row Cyan 20, Blue 25, Light Blue 45, and Blue 25 jars, which target the exposed outer ocean water without risking stall.
- Trap
- The Yellow 17 and Orange 20 jars in row 3 have zero exposed pixels at the start; sending them early clogs the bays while the water is intact.
- Mechanic
- A 3-hit wooden plank covers the bottom-left corner and breaks progressively as Dark Grey structural pixels are cleared from the board.
Level 167 questions
-
How do I remove the wooden plank in Level 167?
Tap Dark Grey and Grey jars to clear the submarine's conning tower and dark structure. Each completed section chips the plank until it shatters.
-
Why is my Yellow jar stalled?
Yellow pixels make up the inner hull and are completely sealed by the outer blue water and orange trims. Clear the surrounding water first.
