How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 165 — full solution
- Tap the Blue 30 jar from the front-left grid. In any order, bring in the White 38, White 24, Cyan 21, Cyan 53, and Brown 16 jars. The Blue jar clears the bottom water, while the white, cyan, and brown jars begin eating the clouds, sky, and bridge pillars.
- Allow Cyan 21 and Brown 16 to finish and leave the bays. Deploy the Dark Grey 8 and Cyan 50 jars into the freed slots. The active white, cyan, and dark grey ants strip more of the outer sky, upper clouds, and exposed locomotive edges.
- As the cyan jars finish, send in the Cyan 81 and White 37 jars to fill the bays alongside the remaining white and dark grey jars. The ants continue chewing inward through the sky background and clouds, exposing the top of the train and bridge deck.
- Clear White 1 and deploy Green 5, Yellow 20, and Cyan 8 as slots open. These jars strip the green foliage on the banks, the exposed yellow train windows, and remaining sky corners, uncovering deeper layers of the bridge and carriages.
- Fill the open bays with Dark Grey 2, Cyan 17, Brown 24, White 28, and Green 29. The green and brown ants consume the remaining foliage and lower bridge supports, while dark grey eats into the locomotive cabin.
- Cycle in the Cyan 13, two Brown jars, White 21, and Brown 14 into the bays. These jars dismantle the bridge arches and strip away the upper sky, leaving the central train structure and upper cloud line exposed.
- Bring in the Orange 16, Cyan 9, White 9, and Yellow 28 jars into the available bays. The ants eat the train carriages, the remaining bridge span, and the middle sky strip, clearing most of the grid above.
- Tap the remaining grid jars including Dark Grey 21, Brown 22, Orange 23, Purple 2, and Beige 19 as they become available. They clear the locomotive wheels, smokestack, and bridge foundations, leaving only five jars in play.
- Let the active Cyan 1, White 9, and Cyan 52 jars finish off the last remaining sky pixels and white cloud puffs. Once all pixels are consumed, the board clears completely.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the front-row Yellow 24 or Dark Grey 21 jar immediately → yellow windows and dark grey train carriages are buried behind sky and bridge pixels, stalling the jar and clogging a bay for multiple phases.
- Overfilling the bays with multiple large Cyan jars while White clouds cover the sky edge → cyan ants cannot reach buried sky pixels, causing a bay deadlock.
Quick tips for Level 165
- Strip the bottom blue water and outer white clouds first to open up multiple access points to the train.
- Keep at least one bay reserved for high-turnover background jars like Cyan or White so you do not get stuck when opening inner colours.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts a steam train traveling across an arched bridge over water, surrounded by cyan sky, white clouds, and side foliage. Below the ant hole are five bays and a multi-layer jar grid feeding forward.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels from the train scene by releasing matching coloured jars from the grid into the bays.
- Opening
- Tap the Blue 30 jar at row 1 column 1 to consume the exposed blue water at the bottom, then follow up with White and Cyan jars to start stripping the clouds and sky.
- Trap
- Tapping the front-row Yellow 24 or Dark Grey 21 jar at the start stalls in a bay because their matching pixels inside the train are blocked by the surrounding picture.
- Mechanic
- Jars in the grid feed forward from deeper layers as front jars are tapped, uncovering hidden numbers and colours.
