Level 164 is a hard stage featuring a pixel-art portrait covered by a 3-hit plank and a 2-key padlock. How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 164 — full solution

  1. Tap Brown 15, Light Green 20, Green 20, Orange 18, and Blue 50 from the front row. They eat the exposed outer edges of the sky, landscape hills, and lower clothing, revealing the second row of mystery jars and the locked padlock.
  2. Tap the newly exposed front jars including Orange 21 with a key icon, Red 16, and White 5 into the bays. The Orange key jar awards one key to Padlock 2, and the ants strip away outer sleeve and cloud pixels, leaving two bays clearing.
  3. Tap the revealed White 25 key jar (row 2, col 4) to collect the second key and open Padlock 2. Fill the freed bays with White 15, Black 9, Grey 39, Light Green 4, and Red 9 to carve into the collar, hat brim, and hills.
  4. Release Black 35, Brown 14, Beige 4, Grey 23, and Black 21 into the bays as slots open. Black jars deliver the first strike to Plank 3 (reducing it to 2), while ants begin clearing the face contour and hair.
  5. Tap Cyan 37, Green 7, Grey 18, White 7, and Dark Grey 40. Another hammer hit lowers Plank 2 to 1, while ants continue eating the hat crown, upper sky, and inner clothing layers.
  6. Tap White 2, White 12, Grey 34, Blue 37, and Black 28 into the bays. The final strike breaks Plank 1 completely, freeing the hidden sky pixels underneath and opening up the entire top-right corner.
  7. Send Cyan 19, Grey 38, White 21, Blue 4, and Black into the clearing bays. They strip away the remaining hat fabric, forehead bangs, and the sky tiles previously trapped under the plank.
  8. Send Light Green 1, Orange 19, White 1, Cyan 2, and Black 1 into the active bays. The ants consume the decorative belt, residual cloud specks, and hair edges, leaving only three jars in the grid.
  9. Tap Light Green 20, Light Green 25, and Dark Grey 40 into the empty bays. They eat the final green hill pixels and top hat tiles to clear the board and complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Beige 4 before the hat brim and collar are cleared → beige face pixels are completely surrounded, causing the jar to stall in a bay and block progress.
  • Filling all five bays before collecting both Key jars → leaves no room to cycle jars and blocks you from unlocking the middle column.

Quick tips for Level 164

  • Target the two Key jars (Orange 21 and White 25) early to open Padlock 2 before grid options become restricted.
  • Focus on outer hat, coat, and sky pixels first so the interior face, hair, and tiles under the plank are uncovered.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A 5-bay rack sits above a 4-row grid of 20 jars featuring Mystery jars, two Key jars, and a Padlock 2 jar in row 2. The picture shows a traditional portrait with a black hat, red coat, and a 3-hit plank over the top-right sky.
Goal
Clear all pixels from the portrait by matching jars to exposed edges and landing three hammer hits to break Plank 3.
Opening
Start by tapping the front-row Blue 50, Green 20, and Brown 15 to immediately begin stripping the exposed outer sky, hills, and coat edges.
Trap
Tapping Beige face jars too early will stall them in the bays because face pixels remain enclosed until the surrounding black hat and white collar are removed.
Mechanic
Padlock 2 locks a center column until both Orange 21 and White 25 key jars are used. Plank 3 blocks top-right sky pixels until black/hat jars deliver three smashing hits.
