How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 252 — full solution
- Tap White 20 (row 1, column 1), Blue 30 (row 1, column 2), White 20 (row 1, column 3), and Blue 30 (row 1, column 4). As row 2 shifts up, tap Cyan 4. Blue and White ants strip the outer border of the orb while Cyan targets the light background; five bays are full.
- Tap the newly revealed White and Cyan jars feeding from below, then Green 4 (front row, center-right) and Dark Grey 10. Ants chip away at the outer boundary and begin uncovering the dark circle outline; Dark Grey and Green join the bays.
- Tap Green 6 (row 1, column 2) and the emerging Cyan and White jars. Cyan ants dissolve the pale background around the frog while White ants strip the outer glow. Dark Grey continues eating the outer ring; four bays remain active.
- Tap Light Green 28, Green 4, Blue 8, and the incoming White jars. Light Green and Green ants start biting into the lily pad and outer frog skin, while Blue finishes the remaining orb segments.
- Tap White 30 (row 1, column 1), White 2 (row 1, column 2), Dark Grey 28, Light Green 25, and Dark Grey 4. The bottom border of the orb dissolves completely, opening direct access to the lower lily pad; one bay frees up briefly.
- Tap Cyan 2 (row 1, column 1), Green 7, Blue 19, White 12, White 20, and Dark Grey 42. Dark Grey ants carve out the frog's eyes and body outline, clearing the boundary between the frog and the lily pad.
- Tap Yellow 17, Pink 12, Cyan 3, and Dark Grey 30. This is the critical transition: Yellow ants strip the crown points and Pink ants clear the frog's blushing cheeks, exposing the orange gems beneath; four bays are occupied.
- Tap Light Green 40, Orange 17, and Dark Grey 15. Orange ants now safely eat the exposed crown base, while Light Green ants devour the frog's head and the rest of the lily pad.
- Tap Green 13, Yellow 13, and Orange 17. The frog's green face and the crown's lower section are completely eaten, leaving only upper-left orb fragments and the crown's top; two bays clear.
- Tap Orange 30, Pink 21, Purple 15, Light Green 3, and Cyan 2. The remaining frog pixels disappear entirely, leaving only floating background pixels and the upper orb shard.
- Tap Blue 45, Dark Grey 38, Yellow 3, Orange 7, Cyan 40, and the final White 2 and Cyan 2. Blue, Dark Grey, and Cyan ants strip the last remnants of the orb and background, clearing the board completely.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Orange 25 or Orange 13 early in the solve → Orange pixels form the base of the crown and are completely buried behind Yellow and Green, causing the jars to stall indefinitely.
- Tapping Pink 21 before the frog's green face is cleared → Pink cheeks are nested within the frog's green skin, leaving the pink jar stuck in a bay.
- Filling bays with Dark Grey jars before outer Blue and White edges are eaten → Dark Grey outline pixels are largely interior, which clogs bays and triggers a loss.
Quick tips for Level 252
- Always work inward through the concentric layers: strip the Blue and White orb rim, then Cyan background, then Green frog body, and finally the crown.
- Keep at least one bay open when transitioning to interior colors like Yellow, Pink, and Orange to prevent sudden stalls.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A round bubble enclosing a crowned green frog atop a lily pad sits in the upper picture frame. Five bays sit above a scrolling 4-column jar grid that feeds upward from the bottom.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels of the frog, crown, lily pad, and circular orb using the jars fed through the lower grid.
- Opening
- Tap the front-row White 20 and Blue 30 jars immediately. Their colors form the exposed outer rim of the orb, allowing their ants to empty the jars quickly.
- Trap
- Orange jars appear early in row 2 and 3, but Orange pixels sit at the base of the crown and inside gems, completely buried until late in the level.
- Mechanic
- The jar grid continuously scrolls additional jars upward as front-row jars are emptied, requiring careful lane clearance to reach required colors.
Level 252 questions
-
What should I tap first on Level 252?
Tap the White and Blue jars in the front row. They match the outermost ring of the orb and clear quickly without risk of stalling.
-
Why did my Orange jar stop working on Level 252?
Orange pixels belong to the crown's base and gems. They are blocked by the outer orb, frog body, and yellow crown tips until mid-solve.
