How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 249 — full solution
- Tap Red 3 from row 1 column 4, Grey 31 from row 1 column 3, Grey 48 from row 2 column 4, Pink 7 from row 2 column 3, and Yellow 14 from row 3 column 3 in any order. The ants strip the bottom outline and initial fries box pixels, keeping all five bays occupied.
- Release Orange 16, Beige 12, Pink 3, and Grey 25 from the right columns as bays clear. The ants consume the outer edges of the fries container and lower basket, uncovering the yellow fries and lower eagle feet.
- Tap Grey 9 and Brown 6 from column 1, along with Yellow 13 and Red 2 from column 4 as they become active. Ants eat away the yellow fries and the base of the eagle body, leaving one bay free while Brown and Orange count down.
- Tap Grey 45 and Yellow 15 from the front row, followed by newly revealed Brown 17 and White 1. The ants clear the remaining fries box completely and begin stripping the bird's lower tail feathers and body edges.
- Tap Dark Grey 6, Yellow 9, and Red 2 from the front rows in any order. With the basket gone, ants eat into the bird's yellow belly and the bottom layer of the brown wings.
- Send Pink 3 and Grey 4 to the bays, followed by White 51 and Brown 39 as the head and wing sections open up. Ants strip the white eagle head feathers and start reducing the brown wing bulk.
- Tap Grey 35, Pink 7, and Red 20 to target the red cap and upper wing highlights. The white head is nearly cleared, leaving outer wing feathers and beak pixels exposed.
- Dispatch the remaining grid jars: Yellow 36, Brown 29, Brown 40, and the final Orange 6 and Dark Grey 2. The ants clear the remaining wing tips and beak to finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Red 54 early from row 3 column 2 → red body and cap pixels are sealed behind grey and brown outlines, so Red 54 stalls in a bay and causes a gridlock.
- Sending White 51 to a bay while the fries box is still being eaten → white head pixels are inaccessible at the top until lower sections clear, wasting a bay.
Quick tips for Level 249
- Work from the bottom basket upward; clearing the fries container exposes the eagle's feet and belly.
- Always check whether a colour has exposed edge pixels before tapping high-value jars like White 51 or Brown 39.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture shows an eagle wearing a red cap and holding a container of fries, situated above five bays and a four-column jar grid.
- Goal
- Strip every pixel from the eagle and fries illustration by routing matching coloured jars through the bays.
- Opening
- Tap Red 3, Grey 31, and nearby small jars on the right side to start dismantling the bottom fries container immediately.
- Trap
- Tapping Red 54 or White 51 in the opening minutes locks a bay indefinitely because inner body and head pixels are buried under outer layers.
- Mechanic
- Standard jar dispatch; as front jars are consumed, jars behind them slide forward into active positions.
Level 249 questions
-
Which part of the picture should I target first in Level 249?
Target the fries box at the bottom using small grey, red, and yellow jars. Clearing the container opens up the eagle's lower body.
