How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 251 — full solution

  1. Tap the Cyan 34 jar (front row, centre) and the Green 20 jar (front row, right). Their ants consume the outer husk tips and base leaves, exposing inner green and dark green foliage while freeing up bays.
  2. Send in the Dark Green 16 jar, the Brown 10 jar, the White 4 jar, and the Cyan 39 jar as they become accessible in the front row. They eat husk outlines and outer husk pixels, opening access to the lower stem.
  3. Tap the Orange 33 jar, the Brown 5 jar, the White 4 jar, and the Cyan 9 jar. They strip away the lower brown stalk and bottom orange kernels, leaving the exposed yellow body and corn leaves open for peeling.
  4. Release the Orange 32 jar and the White 4 jar. They clear the bottom orange kernel rim and bottom white highlights, opening the central kernel grid and revealing deeper jars in the stack.
  5. Deploy the Yellow 26 jar, the White 4 jar, the Yellow 25 jar, and the White 5 jar. Their ants eat the outer corn kernels and bright kernel reflections across the upper ear.
  6. Tap the Yellow 2 jar, the White 1 jar, the Yellow 8 jar, and the White 5 jar. They finish eating the upper yellow body, thinning out the bulk of the corn cob.
  7. Send the Cyan 20 jar and the Dark Grey 40 jar into the bays, followed by White 5 and White 9 jars. They clear the remaining husk fringe and dark kernel shadows around the sides.
  8. Tap the Orange 19 jar, the Brown 1 jar, the Cyan 3 jar, and the White 3 jar. They strip the exposed orange kernels along the cob sides and clean up the husk tips.
  9. Tap the Green 6 jar, the Yellow 18 jar, the Orange 7 jar, and the Orange 11 jar. They harvest the final remaining leaves and the top tip of the corn ear to finish the picture.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Dark Grey 40 jar early → dark grey kernel shadow pixels are locked deep inside the cob under yellow layers, causing the jar to stall indefinitely in a bay.
  • Tapping White jars before husk layers are stripped → white highlight pixels on the corn are covered until the surrounding yellow and orange kernels are partially eaten.

Quick tips for Level 251

  • Focus on green and cyan husk jars first to strip the perimeter leaves before touching the central yellow cob.
  • Keep at least two bays clear whenever mystery jars are about to be uncovered in the stack.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture shows an ear of corn wrapped in green husks on a wooden board. Below the ant hole is a rack of five empty bays over a four-row grid of coloured and mystery jars.
Goal
Clear all pixel layers of the corn cob and leaves by feeding jars into the bays until the picture is fully eaten.
Opening
Start with the Cyan 34 and Green 20 jars from the front row. They target the fully exposed outer leaves immediately and keep bays cycling quickly.
Trap
The Dark Grey 40 jar hidden behind front-row jars must not be played early; its pixels represent internal kernel shading that remains inaccessible until the mid-game.
Mechanic
Jars are stacked in rows; clearing a front jar unlocks the jar directly behind it, and question mark jars reveal their colour and number when uncovered.

Level 251 questions

  • What jars should I tap first on Level 251?

Tap the front Cyan 34 and Green 20 jars. They immediately attack the exposed outer leaf husks without risking any stalls in your bays.

  • Why is my Dark Grey jar stalled?

Dark Grey pixels only appear in the deep kernel shading inside the corn cob. You must eat the yellow and orange kernel layers first before dark grey pixels become exposed.
