How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 161 — full solution

  1. Tap Green 5 (row 2, column 2), Cyan 22 (row 2, column 3), Black 22 (row 1, column 1), and Hot Pink 30 (row 1, column 3). Green ants immediately devour the bottom foliage edge, Cyan clears the shell base, Black strips the outline, and Hot Pink starts the outer crest.
  2. Tap Brown 12 (row 2, column 4) and Hot Pink jars exposed behind the front line. Ants strip the outer scallop borders and lower framing, uncovering the inner yellow and cyan ribbing while keeping bays active.
  3. Tap Cyan 21, Cyan 22, and Yellow 7 as the outer frame vanishes. Yellow and cyan ants eat into the mid-shell ribs and side wings, exposing the central pearl and orange mantle underneath.
  4. Release Orange 30 (row 1, column 4) and Purple 1 to target the exposed inner shell lining. Brown and purple ants strip the dark contrast lines flanking the pearl, freeing bays as small counts expire.
  5. Tap Cyan 21 and Orange 28. Cyan ants finish the remaining base wing tips while orange ants eat inward across the shell folds, keeping four bays cycling smoothly.
  6. Tap Black 18 to finish the lingering outline pixels, then immediately send Hot Pink 20 and Purple 14 into the freed bays. Ants storm the large pearl in the center, rapidly reducing the 50-pixel counter without stalling the queue.
  7. Tap Orange 30, Brown 22, and Purple 13 as the central pearl clears. Ants clean the inner pearl highlights and lower shelf, revealing the deep yellow and orange upper shell crest.
  8. Release Yellow 15, Orange 41, and Purple 30 to begin taking apart the top canopy. Orange and yellow ants aggressively strip the bright fan segments above the pearl bed.
  9. Tap Brown 18, Blue 20, and Orange 28. Ants clear the remaining upper arch and lingering structural accents across the top corners.
  10. Tap Yellow 2 and Orange 5 to finish off the final cluster of pixels at the very crown of the shell, completing the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping White 21 or central pearl jars at the start → the pearl is completely enclosed by the clam shell, so white jars stall in your bays and cause a game over.
  • Filling bays with Orange 30 before stripping the outer rim → orange pixels sit deep inside the shell folds and will not be reachable until green, cyan, and black edges are gone.

Quick tips for Level 161

  • Work from the outside in: strip the outer rim and bottom base first so the inner colours become exposed.
  • Keep at least one bay open when clearing the central pearl so you can cycle smaller utility jars as needed.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
An elaborate clam shell opening to reveal a luminous central pearl with a 50-pixel counter, set above five bays and a multi-row grid of jars.
Goal
Eat all pixels of the clam shell and pearl to clear the board.
Opening
Start with the bottom and outer perimeter colours—Green 5, Cyan 22, and Black 22—to shave off the edges and expose inner shell layers.
Trap
White 21 and inner purple jars are tempting early, but the central pearl is buried beneath the clam; tapping them early permanently fills a bay.
Mechanic
The 50 counter on the pearl indicates a dense block of pixels that requires multiple Hot Pink, Purple, and White jars to fully consume once exposed.

Level 161 questions

  • Why can't my ants reach the pearl in Level 161?

The central pearl is completely shielded by the outer clam shell. You must first clear the outer green, cyan, hot pink, and black pixels before the pearl becomes accessible.
