Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 145 Walkthrough

normal Live 9 colours / pieces Checked September 22, 2026

Clear the butterfly and honey pot pixel art by eating outward borders first. Focus on Black and Grey outlines to release interior Pink and White wings without filling bays with stalled jars. Avoid tapping large Orange jars early while the honey pot remains mostly buried.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 145 — full solution

  1. Tap the Dark Grey 20 jar (front row, right), the Pink 16 jar revealed behind it, the Grey 10 jar, and the Yellow 16 jar. Dark Grey and Yellow ants immediately start peeling the outer outlines and antenna tips, leaving one bay open.
  2. Tap the White 15 jar (front row, third from left), the Cyan 12 jar (front row, second from left), and the Yellow 6 jar. White ants strip the exposed butterfly wing edges while Cyan targets the straw, freeing bays as Dark Grey finishes.
  3. Tap the White 5 jar and the Yellow 4 jar into the open bays. Ants continue clearing peripheral White pixels and outer yellow dots, leaving four bays active while Yellow counts down.
  4. Tap the Hot Pink 20 jar (front row, left) and the Lilac/Pink 25 jar. Hot Pink ants begin devouring the outer wing bands as previous Yellow and White jars empty and clear out of the rack.
  5. Tap the Dark Grey 10 jar and the Pink 2 jar to finish the lower butterfly wing segments. Then tap the White 14 jar (front row, left) and the Purple 31 jar. Purple and White ants clear large sections of the upper left wing.
  6. Tap the Orange 10 jar, the Orange 10 jar behind it, and the Orange 5 jar as the lower honey pot body becomes exposed. Orange and Hot Pink ants consume the jar base and wing mid-sections.
  7. Tap the Dark Grey 8 jar, the Grey 10 jar, the Purple 2 jar, and the Orange 32 jar. Grey ants strip remaining borders while Orange finishes off the lower face of the honey pot.
  8. Tap the Lilac 28 jar, the Purple 6 jar, and the Yellow 5 jar. Ants clear the interior purple wing segments and the remaining yellow wing patches, reducing the total pixel counter below 200.
  9. Tap the Hot Pink 24 jar, the Orange 1 jar, and the Grey 14 jar. The Orange 1 clears immediately on the remaining honey pot border while Hot Pink ants carve through the inner wing.
  10. Tap the Hot Pink 20 jar, the Black 21 jar, and the Purple 22 jar into the newly opened bays. Black and Purple ants remove the last framework segments of the butterfly's upper wings.
  11. Tap the White 19 jar, the Purple 6 jar, the Grey 9 jar, and the Grey 8 jar. Multiple small swarms strip the final interior White wing fill and central body pixels.
  12. Tap the Yellow 38 jar, the Pink 23 jar, and the Hot Pink 22 jar in any order. The swarms clean up the remaining yellow wing crests and inner pink spots to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Orange 30 jar in the front row on opening → Orange pixels are concentrated inside the honey pot body which is blocked by outer outlines, leaving a stalled jar in your bays.
  • Filling all five bays before outer Dark Grey outlines clear → inner wing colours like White and Lilac cannot be reached by ants, causing a complete stall.

Quick tips for Level 145

  • Examine which colours form the outermost silhouette (Dark Grey, Black, outer Yellow tips) and prioritize clearing those jars first.
  • Keep at least one bay empty whenever possible to absorb short-count jars that uncover critical blocking pieces.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
An 800-pixel image showing a butterfly perched beside a smiling honey pot with a green straw. Below the ant hole sits a 5-bay rack and a 4-column jar grid feeding upward.
Goal
Clear all 800 pixels of the butterfly and honey pot illustration by matching jars to exposed pixel colours.
Opening
Start with Dark Grey 20 on the front right and uncover Pink and Yellow. These colours have immediate perimeter targets on the wings and antennae.
Trap
The Orange 30 jar on the front left is tempting but dangerous early because the honey pot's orange core is surrounded by black outlines and the straw.
Mechanic
Ants can only strip pixels exposed to empty space. Internal pixels remain protected until outer borders and surrounding colours are completely removed.

Level 145 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 145?

Tap the Dark Grey 20 jar on the front right to strip outer boundary lines rather than the front Orange 30 jar, which stalls early.

  • Why aren't my Orange ants eating any pixels?

Orange pixels make up the body of the honey pot, which is shielded by outer Dark Grey borders. Clear the outline jars first.
