Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle level guide
Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 148 Walkthrough
Clear three pixel-art fruit characters by chipping away at their dark borders before releasing bright body colours. Black, brown, and purple jars clear outer silhouettes early, preventing mid-game bay bottlenecks. Avoid tapping deep interior colours before their surfaces are uncovered.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 148 — full solution
- Tap the Black 37 jar (front row, right), Brown 21 jar (front row, centre), Purple 19 jar (front row, left), Brown 22 jar (row 2, left), and Black 37 jar (row 2, centre). Black eats the character silhouettes while Brown and Purple strip the acorn exterior. Purple and two Brown jars remain active.
- Release the Red 21 jar (front row, right), Light Green 25 jar (front row, centre), Pink 10 jar (row 2, right), Cyan 3 jar (row 2, centre), and Yellow 2 jar in any order. Light Green eats pineapple foliage while Red and Pink strip the apple. All five bays fill.
- Allow Pink and Red to empty, then send the Black 20 jar (front row, left) and Cyan 2 jar to the freed bays. Light Green, Cyan, and Black strip outer boundaries and facial accents while Yellow works on the pineapple body. Light Green and Black remain active.
- Tap the Red 12 jar (front row, left), Grey 16 jar, Yellow 15 jar, and Orange 13 jar as bays open. Red removes apple flesh, Grey strips highlight pixels, and Yellow and Orange break open the pineapple core. Two bays remain open.
- Tap the Pink 12 jar (front row, left), Beige 27 jar (front row, right), Cyan 14 jar, Purple 20 jar, and Orange 21 jar. Pink and Beige strip cute cheek and light body pixels while Purple removes the acorn hat. All five bays are occupied.
- As Pink and Cyan finish, tap the Blue 17 jar (front row, centre) and Light Green 26 jar. Blue ants clear cool highlights and Light Green finishes internal crown leaves while Purple, Orange, and Beige continue counting down. Four bays remain occupied.
- With Blue and Light Green clear, tap the Red 31 jar (front row, right) to target the apple interior while Orange 15 and Beige 8 finish the pineapple. Light Green, Purple, Red, Orange, and Beige occupy the bays.
- Tap the Black 19 jar (front row, left), followed by the Brown 40 jar (front row, centre) and Brown 20 jar. Black clears remaining eyes and borders, allowing Brown to eat the thick acorn base alongside Orange and Beige. Four bays remain active.
- Let the Brown 6, Brown 3, Orange 5, and Beige 3 jars finish eating the final pixels of the acorn. The last pixels disappear and the board clears completely.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Red 31 jar before the apple border is stripped → Red pixels are fully buried beneath Black outline and Pink highlights, leaving the jar stalled in a bay.
- Tapping the Blue 17 jar during the opening phase → Blue only appears as small eye highlights that remain covered until Black silhouettes are eaten, clogging a bay.
Quick tips for Level 148
- Always exhaust Black outline jars first; they expose the colourful inner fruit pixels across all three figures.
- Keep at least one bay empty whenever tapping large multi-count jars like Brown 40 or Red 31.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture shows three pixel-art fruit characters: an acorn on the left, a pineapple in the centre, and an apple on the right. Below the board sits the ant hole, five empty bays, and a deep grid of coloured jars feeding upward.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel tiles from the three fruit characters by dispatching matching jars to the bays until zero pixels remain.
- Opening
- Start by tapping Black 37, Brown 21, and Purple 19 from the front row. Black immediately eats the exposed silhouettes while Brown and Purple strip the acorn.
- Trap
- Deep core colours like Red 31 and Brown 40 are exposed early in the jar stack but their pixels are buried under multiple outer layers. Tapping them too early stalls bays.
- Mechanic
- Ants can only strip exposed exterior pixels. When an outer layer of Black or Pink is removed, the interior colours beneath instantly become eligible for eating.
Level 148 questions
