Colony Flow! Level 8 Walkthrough

normal Live 7 colours / pieces Checked September 20, 2026

Level 8 features a fried egg on toast bordered by bacon and lettuce. The winning strategy is to deplete outer toast crust and cheese blocks first so the interior egg white, yolk, and bacon become exposed for queued boxes. Avoid loading all five slots with buried center colours early.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 8 — full solution

  1. Tap Brown 35 (front row, left), White 20 (front row, left), White 30 (front row, middle), Yellow 15 (front row, middle), and Red 40 (front row, right). Brown 35 and Yellow 15 immediately strip exposed outer crust and cheese, while White and Red wait in reserve with all five slots filled.
  2. Once Yellow 15 and Brown 35 clear, tap Brown 28 (front row, left) into slot 1 and Pink 17 (front row, middle) into slot 4. Brown and Pink begin clearing the bacon and outer border, exposing inner layers so White 20, White 30, and Red 40 start draining.
  3. When Brown 28 and Pink 17 finish, tap Light Green 25 (front row, left) into slot 1. As White 20 departs, tap Yellow 13 (front row, middle) into slot 2 and Brown 12 (front row, right) into slot 4. All five slots drain simultaneously across the lettuce, yolk, and crust.
  4. After Light Green 25, White 30, and Yellow 13 finish, tap Yellow 20 (front row, left), Light Green 15 (front row, middle), and Pink 19 (front row, right) into slots 1, 2, and 3. When Brown 12 finishes, tap Green 12 (front row, right) into slot 4; Red 40 finishes.
  5. As Green 12 and Light Green 15 leave, tap Pink 21 (front row, left) into slot 2, White 32 (front row, middle) into slot 4, and Red 1 (front row, right) into slot 5. Pink 19 and Red 1 clear instantly; tap White 22 and Red 13 to maintain pressure.
  6. When Pink 21 and Red 13 clear, tap Red 30 (front row, left) into slot 4 and Red 1 (front row, right) into slot 5. After Red 1 empties, tap White 30 (front row, left), Yellow 11 (front row, middle), and Green 27 (front row, right) into the free slots.
  7. As Red 30 and Yellow 20 finish, tap Yellow 4 (front row, middle) into slot 1. When Yellow 11, Yellow 4, and Green 27 depart, tap Brown 38 (front row, left) and Green 3 (front row, right) to quickly chew through the upper crust and garnish.
  8. Tap Brown 33 (front row, left), White 20 (front row, middle), Light Green 13 (front row, right), and Green 1 (front row, right) into the opening slots. The ants carry away the final remaining blocks of toast, egg white, and lettuce to clear the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Red 40 and White 30 when all five slots are occupied without Brown or Yellow draining → no exposed red or white blocks exist yet, completely jamming all five slots and causing an immediate loss.
  • Sending Light Green 25 to a slot before the outer toast frame is peeled back → lettuce blocks remain partially blocked, leaving the slot stagnant.

Quick tips for Level 8

  • Keep at least one or two slots clearing exterior crust blocks so trapped interior colours do not lock up the queue.
  • Time your taps so fast-draining boxes finish before you commit large counts of secondary colours into the slots.
  • Mystery boxes reveal their colour and number upon reaching the front row; only tap them when you have exposed matching pixels on the board.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel picture of an egg on toast with lettuce and bacon sits above a central nest hole, with five holding slots below it and a tiered stack of ant boxes at the bottom.
Goal
Clear all pixel blocks from the toast, egg, bacon, and lettuce illustration using the ant boxes before running out of free slots.
Opening
Start by tapping the Brown 35 box to strip the exposed bottom crust, followed by White 20, White 30, Yellow 15, and Red 40. Yellow and Brown clear exterior blocks immediately while White and Red wait.
Trap
Tapping multiple interior colour boxes like Red 40 or White 30 without a fast-clearing exterior colour like Brown 35 or Yellow 15 will permanently clog all five slots, causing an instant game over.
Mechanic
Exposed blocks rule dictates that ants can only harvest blocks touching the outer edges; inner layers like the egg white and yolk cannot be harvested until the crust and bacon layers around them are peeled away.

Level 8 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 8 in Colony Flow?

Tap the Brown 35 box first to attack the bottom crust, then send Yellow 15 to clear exposed cheese. This opens pathways to the interior egg white and bacon layers.
