Clear the perimeter yellow background before peeling away the dog portrait and bouquet. Manage slot capacity carefully so high-count black and white boxes do not stall while internal colors remain buried.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 495 — full solution
- Send the Black 43 box from the front row left into the open fifth slot. Its ants immediately begin stripping the exposed black base line at the bottom of the picture frame while the pre-placed Green 8 and three Yellow boxes (31, 30, 30) continue clearing outer border tiles.
- As the three initial Yellow boxes finish stripping the yellow outer frame and free up three bays, tap the White 30 box from front row right and the Pink 25 box from row 2 left. White ants clear the dog's chest while pink ants target the exposed flower petals and ears.
- Tap the Green 21 box from the front row centre once the initial Green 8 box finishes. Green ants dismantle the leaves and stem beneath the bouquet, opening access to deeper red and white sections of the dog portrait.
- Bring in the White 36 box from the left column and the Pink 23 box from the middle column to replace cleared white and pink units. The ants strip the lower chin and collar, exposing the interior body patches while Black 43 reduces towards zero in slot five.
- Send the Green 8 box and Yellow 35 box into freed slots. Green ants finish the bouquet foliage, while yellow ants start removing the large upper background behind the dog's head, keeping four slots actively processing.
- Deploy the White 30 box and the linked Red boxes (Red 24 and Red 41) into empty bays as slots clear. Ants carry away the core bouquet blossoms and the dark inner ear sections, exposing the final crown of yellow background tiles.
- Tap the Yellow 34 and Pink 18 boxes from the top row of the stack into empty bays. Pink ants finish the last ear highlights, while yellow ants begin dismantling the dense yellow background along the top edge.
- Send the remaining Yellow 30 boxes and the final Yellow 26 into the slots to finish the solve. The yellow ants strip the remaining top border blocks down to zero to clear the entire board.
