Colony Flow! Level 492 Walkthrough

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 492 — full solution
- With Orange 41 and Pink 30 active in the slots, tap Yellow 35, Purple 48, and Light Green 46 from the front row. The ants peel away the bottom rim of the Warp Star and begin reducing the 160-count crate down to 34, leaving five slots active.
- Tap Yellow 34 from row 1 along with Black 32 and Purple 5 to continue dismantling the star base and Kirby's left edge. The lower star collapses further, revealing Kirby's outline while Black and Purple ants wear down edge details.
- Deploy Light Green 20, Pink 29, and Hot Pink 25 as earlier boxes expire. Ants clear the remaining pieces of the Warp Star and begin peeling Kirby's shoes and lower body, breaking the central crate completely.
- Tap Coral 22 and Coral 34 into free slots while Pink 29 finishes off Kirby's lower torso. Ants tear through Kirby's lower body and arm, freeing up two central slots as multiple boxes deplete simultaneously.
- Send Yellow 30, Black 9, Light Blue 24, Pink 31, and Hot Pink 15 into the slots in any order. The swarm dismantles Kirby's cheeks, face interior, and eye highlights, reducing the picture to upper head outlines.
- Tap Yellow 35, Pink 35, and Black 40 from the top row to collect the final blocks along Kirby's head and ears. The remaining ants carry the last pixels into the nest to clear the stage.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Dark Purple 45 box in row 2 while Kirby's outline is still shielded by Yellow star blocks → Dark Purple has no exposed path and parks in a slot, blocking progress.
- Filling all five slots with Pink and Hot Pink boxes before clearing the Warp Star → neither can reach Kirby's interior face blocks, clogging all bays.
Quick tips for Level 492
- Prioritise yellow and orange boxes in the early phase to dismantle the Warp Star and expose the lower half of Kirby.
- Keep at least one slot open whenever multiple boxes of the same colour are active to prevent a complete stall.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- Five slots sit across the middle above a four-column stack of ant boxes. The picture depicts Kirby riding a Warp Star with a 160-counter crate resting over the centre.
- Goal
- Carry away all pixel blocks composing Kirby and the Warp Star until every block reaches the nest.
- Opening
- Let Orange 41 and Pink 30 strip the initial border blocks, then pull Yellow 35 and Purple 48 from the front row to begin dismantling the star.
- Trap
- Activating Dark Purple or Black boxes before stripping the yellow star strands them in slots with zero exposed blocks to target.
- Mechanic
- The 160 crate on the star requires adjacent block clearances to count down to zero and uncover the underlying pixels.
Level 492 questions

What should I focus on clearing first in Level 492?
Dismantle the yellow and orange Warp Star underneath Kirby first to expose his lower outline and body layers.
-
Why are my purple and black boxes not moving?
Their targeted blocks form Kirby's inner contours and remain blocked until the outer yellow star and pink body blocks are removed.
