How to beat Colony Flow! Level 29 — full solution
- Tap the Black 38 box (front row, left) and the Light Green 36 box (front row, second from left). They enter the first two slots and clear outer border blocks, keeping three slots free.
- Tap the Light Green 32 box (front row, fourth) and the White 37 box (front row, fifth). White ants target the white border and background blocks, while Light Green continues eating the perimeter.
- Tap the Black 40 box (front row, left) and the White 37 box (front row, second from left). Black continues peeling the bottom outline and White removes surrounding background blocks.
- Tap the White 38 box (front row, fifth) and the Light Blue/Cyan 35 box (front row, fourth). Cyan ants begin stripping the hamster body while White continues clearing perimeter blocks.
- Tap the White 38 box (front row, left), the Black 35 box (front row, second from left), and the Light Green 34 box (front row, fifth). Light Green finishes the top border while Black uncovers facial features.
- Tap the Pink 5 box (front row, second from left), the Light Blue/Cyan 34 box (front row, fifth), and the Black 35 box (front row, second from left). Pink carries away the cheek and feet blocks while Black removes outline pixels.
- Tap the Light Blue/Cyan 35 box (front row, left), the White 34 box (front row, fourth), and the Yellow 8 box (front row, left). Yellow begins peeling the pumpkin on top as Cyan strips body layers.
- Tap the Yellow 34 box (front row, third) and the Black 35 box (front row, fourth). Yellow eats the pumpkin body while Black removes the remaining facial details.
- Tap the Black 28 box (front row, left), the White 38 box (front row, second from left), and the Light Blue/Cyan 35 box (front row, third). White and Cyan clear remaining bulk body blocks, leaving slots open for the final layers.
- Tap the Brown 15 box (front row, second from left) and the Light Blue/Cyan 30 box (front row, third). Brown carries the pumpkin ribs while Cyan removes internal body blocks.
- Tap the Black 40 box (front row, left) and the Light Blue/Cyan 38 box (front row, second from left). They clear out the remaining outline fragments and core body pixels.
- Tap the Brown 2 box (front row, left), the Green 30 box (front row, second from left), and the Yellow 15 box (front row, third). Green clears the pumpkin stem and Yellow takes the pumpkin crown.
- Tap the Yellow 8 box (front row, left), the Light Blue/Cyan 1 box (front row, second from left), and the Yellow 10 box (front row, third). Yellow cleans up the final pumpkin highlights, and the last Cyan box clears the remaining pixel on the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Brown 15 box or Green 30 box right at the start → the pumpkin stem and ribs are buried inside the pumpkin and outline, leaving the box stuck and occupying a slot for most of the level.
- Tapping the Pink 5 box before clearing the lower white body blocks → the pink paws and cheeks remain shielded by white and black pixels, causing the pink box to stall.
Quick tips for Level 29
- Focus on Light Green and White boxes in the opening moves to expose inner body colours quickly.
- Avoid tapping Yellow, Brown, or Green boxes until the top border and pumpkin outline have been fully stripped.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel-art square picture at the top showing a white and cyan hamster crowned with a pumpkin, enclosed in a light green border. Below the picture are five slots and a deep stack of number-labelled boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel blocks from the picture using ant boxes from the stack without letting all five slots fill with stuck boxes.
- Opening
- Tap the Black 38 and Light Green 36 boxes in the front row. The outer frame consists of Light Green and Black blocks that are immediately exposed.
- Trap
- Releasing the Brown 15 box too early stalls it in a slot because brown pumpkin details are surrounded by yellow and black pixels.
- Mechanic
- Ants can only pick up exposed blocks at the outer edges of the remaining image. Blocked interior colours cannot be collected until their covering layers vanish.
Level 29 questions
-
Why does my brown box stop sending ants on Level 29?
Brown blocks make up the pumpkin ridges and stem base, which are covered by outer yellow and black blocks. Clear the outer pumpkin layers first before tapping brown boxes.
-
What should I clear first in Colony Flow! Level 29?
Start with the Light Green, Black, and White boxes in the front row to peel the outer frame and expose the hamster's cyan body and yellow pumpkin.
