Colony Flow! Level 30 Walkthrough

hard Live 8 colours / pieces Checked September 20, 2026

Level 30 depicts a split coconut resting on a sandy beach under a blue sky. Win by clearing the outer sand and sky first to expose the black outline, which frees the buried coconut and leaf blocks. Avoid filling the slots with late-game colors while Green and Brown are stalled.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 30 — full solution

  1. Tap the Yellow 45 box (front row, middle), Green 100 box (front row, left), Cyan 40 box (row 2, left), and Brown 45 box (row 2, middle). The yellow and cyan ants strip the outer sand and sky, while green starts on the leaves. Four slots are in use.
  2. Tap the White 45 box (front row, right) into the fifth slot to begin clearing the outer clouds and coconut rim. As Yellow 45 and Cyan 40 empty, tap the Light Blue 17 box (front row, left) and the second White 45 box (front row, middle).
  3. The Light Blue 17 and first White 45 boxes empty, clearing the surrounding clouds. Green 100 drops to 28 and Brown 45 drops to 44, then both stall because inner leaves and the coconut core are blocked. Three slots become free with Green 28 and Brown 44 parked.
  4. With Green 28 and Brown 44 stuck in slots 1 and 2, tap the Yellow 29 box (front row, left), Light Blue 35 box (front row, middle), and Yellow 30 box (row 2, left). All five slots are now full. The yellow and light blue ants strip the beach sand and lower sky.
  5. Yellow 29 and Light Blue 35 empty, freeing two slots. Tap the Black 35 box (front row, right) into slot 3. The black ants strip the coconut's dark outline, which immediately unblocks the stalled Green 28 and Brown 44 boxes. Both resume counting down.
  6. As Black 35 and Yellow 30 clear, tap the Yellow 26 box (front row, middle) and Light Blue 32 box (front row, right). These clear the rest of the sand and sky. Brown and Green finish completely, leaving slots open for the next row.
  7. Tap the Green 41 box (row 2, middle), Dark Purple 36 box (row 2, left), Cyan 56 box (row 3, left), and White 39 box (row 3, right). The dark purple ants remove the remaining coconut shadows while green cleans up the leaves.
  8. Tap the Light Blue 40 box (row 2, middle) and Green 41 box (row 2, left) as earlier boxes empty. Next, tap the Cyan 39 box (front row, left) and White 40 box (row 2, right) to clear the upper sky and inner white coconut meat.
  9. Tap the Brown 48 box (front row, middle), Light Blue 18 box (front row, right), Yellow 43 box (front row, right), and Brown 40 box (front row, right) as slots open. These clear the remaining coconut shell fragments and residual sand patches.
  10. Tap the linked Light Blue 20 + Light Blue 20 pair (front row, middle) to send both into slots together, clearing the final sky tiles. Tap the White 2 box (front row, left), then tap the Black 40 box (row 2, middle) to clear the last black outline pixels and complete the picture.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Brown 45 box early without clearing the surrounding beach → brown blocks are completely hidden inside the coconut, so the box stays stuck at 44 and clogs a slot for the entire first half of the level.
  • Filling the remaining slots with Dark Purple or White while Green 28 and Brown 44 are already stalled → the buffer fills completely with non-working boxes, causing an instant game over.

Quick tips for Level 30

  • Prioritize yellow sand and light blue sky boxes early; they strip the perimeter and expose the interior coconut outline.
  • Always reserve at least two free slots when approaching the linked Light Blue 20 pair near the bottom of the stack.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel-art beach scene with a split coconut on sand under a bright sky, framed by five holding slots and a deep multi-row stack below.
Goal
Clear all coloured blocks from the picture using the ant boxes in the stack without permanently filling all five slots.
Opening
Start by tapping the Yellow 45, Green 100, Cyan 40, and Brown 45 boxes. Yellow and cyan immediately find exposed blocks along the outer edges.
Trap
The Brown 45 box stalls at 44 and the Green 100 stalls at 28 because their remaining blocks are locked behind black outlines. If you fill the three remaining slots with stalled boxes, you lose.
Mechanic
Near the bottom of the stack sits a linked pair of Light Blue 20 boxes joined by a bar. Tapping either sends both into slots simultaneously, requiring two free slots.

Level 30 questions

  • Why did my Brown box stop counting down at 44 on Level 30?

The remaining brown coconut blocks are fully enclosed by black outline blocks and sand. Tap black and yellow boxes to uncover the coconut shell so brown ants can resume.

  • How do I use the linked Light Blue boxes near the end of Level 30?

Make sure you have at least two empty slots before tapping either box in the linked pair, as both slide into the slots together.
