How to beat Colony Flow! Level 285 — full solution
- Tap the Yellow 45 box in the front row on the left. Its ants carry off the exposed bottom yellow blocks of the cat torso.
- Tap the Black 50 box in the front row, middle. Its ants begin gathering outer black outline blocks from around the cat.
- Tap the Yellow 20 box and the Yellow 50 box as they become accessible in the front row. They clear the lower sides and body of the cat.
- Tap the Pink 6 box in the front row to strip the cat's nose, followed by the Yellow 40 box to continue clearing facial tiles.
- Tap the Red 20 box and Black 45 box in the middle to clear the cat's glasses lenses and remaining frames, while tapping the Black 14 and Black 29 boxes as they uncover.
- Tap the Yellow 40 box and Yellow 30 box to clear the forehead, ears, and remaining inner facial features.
- Tap the linked Light Blue 50 and Light Blue 50 pair in the front row. They slide into slots together and start consuming the outer light blue background grid.
- Tap the linked Light Blue 25 and Light Blue 30 pair, then the final Light Blue 40 box. Their ants consume the remaining light blue blocks to finish the level.

- Tapping the linked Light Blue boxes early → light blue blocks only form the outermost background boundary, but the linked pairs require two open slots and will stall until foreground elements are reduced.

- Clear Black outline boxes concurrently with Yellow cat body boxes to avoid filling up slots with unexposed inner layers.
- Ensure at least two slots remain open before tapping linked Light Blue boxes.
