How to beat Colony Flow! Level 282 — full solution
- With Blue 50 active in the first slot, tap Hot Pink 35 (row 1, col 1), Pink 25 (row 1, col 2), and Yellow 35 (row 1, col 4). The ants peel the outermost Dark Purple frame and the exposed outer curves of the pink controller handles.
- Tap Blue 45 (row 1, col 3) and Purple 50 (row 2, col 1) into open slots. They finish dismantling the remaining outer frame blocks, uncovering the controller's main yellow casing and the two locked Hot Pink boxes.
- Tap Hot Pink 45 (row 1, col 2), Light Green 7 (row 2, col 4), and the linked Dark Purple and Blue pair into the slots. These clear the top border blocks and the green trim, leaving one slot free.
- Tap Yellow 25 and Pink 27 into available slots. The ants carry away the broad yellow faceplate blocks and outer pink grip edges, bringing interior button colours closer to the surface.
- Tap Pink 25, Pink 29, and Yellow 40 from the front row. They clear away the lower controller body and the remaining yellow layers around the d-pad, exposing the Light Blue directional buttons.
- Tap Light Blue 41, White 9, and the linked Purple and Hot Pink pair. They strip the directional pad and white button highlights while unlocking the two Hot Pink 20 boxes on the pedestals.
- Tap Yellow 30, Blue 35, and Pink 20 into open slots. They remove the internal structure and clear out the pedestal supports and button housings.
- Tap Hot Pink 2 and Blue 9 into the remaining slots. They carry off the final Dark Purple and Hot Pink blocks along the controller's upper ridge to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the linked Dark Purple and Blue pair too early → interior blue blocks remain covered by the yellow faceplate, leaving both boxes stuck in two slots.
- Tapping Light Blue 41 before stripping the yellow faceplate → light blue d-pad blocks are not yet exposed, causing the box to idle and waste a slot.
Quick tips for Level 282
- Reserve at least two empty slots before tapping any linked box pair.
- Focus on stripping the outer border and main yellow faceplate before committing boxes for accent colours like Light Blue and White.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A game controller pixel picture framed by Dark Purple pixels sits above five slots and a four-column stack. Two locked Hot Pink 20 boxes rest on pedestals within the picture.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel blocks of the controller and frame without allowing stalled boxes to fill all five slots.
- Opening
- Blue 50 starts active in slot 1; tap Hot Pink 35, Pink 25, and Yellow 35 from row 1 to begin dismantling the outer edges immediately.
- Trap
- The linked Dark Purple and Blue box pair requires two vacant slots and will jam progress if triggered before inner blue blocks are accessible.
- Mechanic
- Linked pairs take up two slots simultaneously when tapped; locked pedestal boxes require uncovering and freeing embedded keys before they clear.
