Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 73 Walkthrough
Level 73 presents a pixel-art scene of two opossums hanging from a branch against a green backdrop. Clear the outer green foliage, brown branch, and white accents before stripping the internal grey and pink opossum bodies. Avoid overloading bays with grey or dark grey before exposing enough body pixels.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 73 — full solution
- Tap White 16 (front row, right), Beige 20 (front row, column 3), and Grey 40 (front row, column 2). Ants chew the outer exposed white highlights and beige branch patches around the opossums.
- Tap Green 30 (front row, left) and Dark Green 31 (revealed row 2). Ants eat away the surrounding leaves and foliage framing the picture, uncovering the brown branch and opossum outlines.
- Tap Black 18 (front row, right) and Grey 34 (front row, column 3). Ants consume the border outlines and outer fur edges, exposing more of the opossum bodies and clearing space in the bays.
- Tap Brown 20 (middle row) and Brown 23 (middle row, right). Ants clear the branch holding the two opossums, exposing the inner green background and the tops of both animals.
- Tap Lilac 25 (middle row), Light Green 10 (middle row), and Green 42 (middle row, right). Ants remove background greenery and reveal lower layers in the jar grid.
- Tap Brown 10 (bottom row), Brown 7 (revealed left), and Brown 4 (revealed right). Ants strip remaining branch segments, fully exposing the central green background patch.
- Tap Light Green 14 (front bay area) and Green 18 (front row, right). Ants rapidly consume the large green patch between and above the opossums, leaving only opossum fur and body details.
- Tap Grey 26 (left), Lilac 6 (centre), and Beige 40 (bottom). Ants eat the light purple and beige chest and ear details of both animals.
- Tap Dark Grey 32 (front row), Grey 28 (front row, left), and Dark Grey 64 (revealed bottom). Ants work on the dark fur and shadows across both opossum backs.
- Tap Green 3 (left), Green 18 (centre), Lilac 8 (centre), and Brown 3 (right). The ants eat the final scattered pixels across the bodies and branch remnants to clear the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Dark Grey 64 early → Dark grey pixels are buried inside the opossum coats, causing the large jar to stall in a bay for most of the level.
- Filling all five bays with grey and lilac jars before the green background is removed → Green pixels block access to the underlying bodies, leading to a bay jam.
Quick tips for Level 73
- Prioritize green jars early; the green leaves and background frame every other element on the board.
- Clear brown branch segments as soon as they are uncovered to expose the backs and tails of the opossums.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts two opossums hanging upside down from a leafy tree branch on a square board. A grid of jars sits beneath five bays and the ant hole.
- Goal
- Clear 500 total pixels (starting with 300 green and 200 light pixels indicated on the counters) by deploying matching jars.
- Opening
- Begin by deploying White 16, Beige 20, and Green 30 to begin peeling away the outer edges and foliage safely.
- Trap
- Dark Grey 64 sitting deep in the stack will completely block a bay if summoned while outer green and grey fur layers still cover its target pixels.
- Mechanic
- Standard colour matching where ants only harvest exposed pixels on the outermost perimeter of the remaining image.
Level 73 questions
-
What jars should I tap first on Level 73?
Start with White 16, Beige 20, and Green 30 from the front row to clear the outermost border pixels without clogging bays.
-
Why did my dark grey jar stall on Level 73?
Dark grey pixels represent the interior fur shadows of the opossums. Clear the outer green leaves and light grey coat first.
