How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 49 — full solution

  1. Tap the Cyan 48 jar and White 16 jar from the front row, then the Light Blue 45 jar from row 2 on the right. Ants eat exposed Light Blue and Cyan sky pixels around the streamers, emptying the White 16 jar early.
  2. Tap the Dark Grey 24 jar on the front left and the Dark Grey 39 jar behind it to start accumulating hits against the planks. Follow with the Light Blue 36 jar from row 2. The lower plank counts down toward 430.
  3. Tap the Blue 23 jar on the front left, the Light Blue 47 jar in row 3, and the Green 20 jar in row 2. Ants clear outer foliage and border areas while Black hammer ants shatter the bottom plank.
  4. Tap the Red 30 jar in row 2 and the Red 41 jar in row 3 to target the middle carp. Tap the Yellow 30 jar in row 4 to clear the yellow fish details revealed beneath the broken lower plank.
  5. Tap the White 26 jar in row 4 and the revealed White 25 jar in the rear row. Ants chip away at the streamer rings and fins as the middle plank breaks under hammer strikes.
  6. Tap the Blue 26 jar in row 2 and the Red 25 jar in row 2 to strip the top and middle windsocks. Bring in the Yellow 6 jar in row 1 on the left to clear the middle fish belly accents.
  7. Tap the Cyan 17 jar and Yellow 4 jar from the incoming stack to clear remaining yellow and light blue scales. Tap the Blue 20 jar to eat into the top carp body.
  8. Tap the Red 25 jar, Dark Grey 16 jar, and Light Blue 9 jar from the final rows. Ants eliminate the last red streamer stripes and hammer hits destroy the final plank, leaving only a few Blue and White pixels.
  9. Tap the Blue 12 jar and White 28 jar to finish the remaining tail fins and background remnants, clearing the entire board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Red 30 or Yellow 30 jars before their corresponding planks break → red and yellow pixels are locked under the middle and bottom planks, leaving the jars completely stalled in the bays.

Quick tips for Level 49

  • Prioritize Dark Grey hammer jars whenever they are uncovered, as planks require hundreds of total hits to break.
  • Exposed border pixels are predominantly Light Blue, Cyan, and White; keep at least one bay open for these edge colours.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture shows three Japanese carp windsocks (blue on top, red in middle, cyan on bottom) flying on a pole against a light blue sky and green landscape. Three wooden planks cover the centres of each streamer.
Goal
Clear all pixels from the picture. The three planks start with counters of 1000, 900, and 750.
Opening
Tap Cyan 48, White 16, and Light Blue 45 from the front rows. These colours make up the surrounding border and clear safely without obstruction.
Trap
Tapping the Red 30 jar while the middle 900 plank is still intact stalls the bay, as all red carp scales are trapped beneath the board.
Mechanic
Dark Grey jars summon hammer ants that eat black outline pixels; every completed jar damages the numbered planks until they break.

Level 49 questions

  • Why are my Red and Yellow jars not moving in Level 49?

Red and yellow pixels are covered by the wooden planks. Use Dark Grey hammer jars to destroy the planks before tapping those colours.
