How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 48 — full solution

  1. Tap the front row Dark Blue 15, Cyan 36, and White 19 jars. Their ants begin clearing the exposed outer outline, fins, and snout tips, leaving two bays free.
  2. Send the Dark Blue 18, Dark Blue 17, Yellow 5, and Dark Blue 32 jars into available bays. Ants consume the lower border and fin edges, revealing Grey and White pixels underneath.
  3. Tap the White 5, Yellow 3, Cyan 4, and Dark Blue 18 jars as bays clear. They continue trimming the outer dorsal fin, belly rim, and start accessing the inner yellow streak.
  4. Deploy the Dark Blue 23, Dark Blue 9, Yellow 10, Cyan 12, and Dark Blue 18 jars. The main body outlines crumble rapidly, fully opening access to the central fish bulk.
  5. Send the Dark Blue 11, Grey 20, White 23, Cyan 1, and Cyan 4 jars into bays. Ants remove the remaining body borders, eye details, and inner grey backing.
  6. Tap the Dark Blue 24, Cyan 2, and White 24 jars from the front row. They devour the mid-section body tiles, keeping yellow patches exposed for subsequent clears.
  7. Send the Cyan 41, Dark Blue 37, White 11, and Yellow 1 jars into empty slots. They strip away the remaining belly colours and dorsal accents.
  8. Tap the remaining front-line jars: Cyan 10, Cyan 13, White 2, and Dark Blue 3 in sequence. Ants consume the final fish pixels until the board is completely cleared.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping large Yellow jars while the outer Dark Blue frame is intact → Yellow pixels form an interior stripe and cannot be reached, leaving the jars stalled in bays.
  • Overfilling bays with multiple White jars simultaneously → White primarily forms eye and snout accents, causing extra White jars to stall and block incoming Dark Blue jars.

Quick tips for Level 48

  • Focus on clearing Dark Blue jars first because Dark Blue covers the outermost silhouette of the fish.
  • Keep at least one bay open when queueing Yellow jars since yellow pixels are locked inside the central body stripe.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture is a swordfish pixel mosaic surrounded by five empty bays above a stacked grid of jars arranged in overlapping rows.
Goal
Clear all coloured pixels composing the swordfish picture by assigning matching ant jars to the bays.
Opening
Begin with the front Dark Blue 15, Cyan 36, and White 19 jars to start stripping the exposed outer edges of the fish.
Trap
The inner Yellow stripe is fully enclosed by Dark Blue and Cyan borders; tapping Yellow jars before these borders dissolve stalls your bays.
Mechanic
Exposed pixels must be cleared from the outside inward; ants will only navigate to colours that have an unblocked outer boundary.

Level 48 questions

  • What should I tap first in Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 48?

Tap the front-row Dark Blue 15, Cyan 36, and White 19 jars. They immediately attack the exposed silhouette of the swordfish.

  • Why do my Yellow jars stall on Level 48?

Yellow pixels sit entirely inside the swordfish body stripe. Clear the surrounding Dark Blue and Cyan pixels first so ants can reach the yellow area.
