Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 40 Walkthrough
Level 40 depicts a pixel-art knight riding a white horse with a key lock on the bottom jar. Clear exposed dark pixels and outline colours first to unlock the key jar and access covered interior shades. Do not send deep-body colours before the outlines are stripped.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 40 — full solution
- Tap the Black 36 jar, the Dark Grey 15 jar, and the Yellow 15 jar from the front row. Their ants eat the outer black outline, horse mane, and yellow trim around the armor.
- Tap the White 10 jar and the Hot Pink 7 jar from the second row into the remaining open bays. Ants strip exposed white horse pixels and knight accent tiles while Black completes.
- Tap the newly revealed Hot Pink 7 jar and Red 7 jar from the front. They eat knight armor segments as earlier bays finish and free up capacity.
- Tap the Black 37 jar and the Red 5 jar. They clear the remaining heavy dark outline around the knight's sword and upper horse body.
- Tap the Yellow 10 jar and the White 36 jar. Yellow clears the knight helmet trim while White consumes large sections of the horse torso.
- Tap the Hot Pink 32 jar and the Key-marked White jar from the lower row. The key jar releases the key to unlock the padlocked bottom jar while ants strip remaining upper highlights.
- Tap the unlocked White 42 jar and the Dark Grey 24 jar. Dark grey consumes the sword blade while white removes the remaining horse flanks.
- Tap the Red 12 jar, the Yellow 13 jar, and the final White 10 jar. Red clears the horse saddle and cape, yellow finishes the hilt, and white clears the final horse pixels to finish the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Red 7 or Hot Pink 7 jars before the surrounding Black and Dark Grey outlines are stripped → their ants have no exposed pixels, jamming the bays.
- Ignoring the key jar in the middle row → the padlocked jar stays locked at the bottom, leaving you short of capacity to finish the horse.
Quick tips for Level 40
- Clear outline colours like Black and Dark Grey first to expose interior knight armor and horse body pixels.
- Prioritize opening access to the Key jar early so the padlocked White 42 jar at the base is ready when needed.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture shows an armored knight with a raised sword riding a white horse. Below the ant hole are five empty bays above a tiered grid of jars containing black, dark grey, white, yellow, red, and hot pink colors.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel tiles from the knight and horse artwork using the jars provided across the grid.
- Opening
- Send Black 36, Dark Grey 15, and Yellow 15 to strip the outermost borders and edges safely without filling all five bays.
- Trap
- Sending deep interior armor colours like Red 7 before their surrounding outline is cleared leaves them idling in bays.
- Mechanic
- A Padlock jar at the bottom right of the jar grid is locked until the Key jar above it is collected and delivered.
