How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 316 — full solution

  1. Tap the Brown 25 jar, the Orange 30 jar, the Yellow 3 jar, and the Beige 10 jar from the front row. Ants strip the outer peel edges and exposed stem tips, keeping bay capacity open.
  2. Tap the Black 23 jar, the Brown 19 jar, the Yellow 10 jar, and the Orange 13 jar in any order as front positions clear. These target the dark stem outline and upper peel contours.
  3. Tap the Beige 37 jar, the White 6 jar, the Black 9 jar, and the Orange 30 jar. Ants eat away the exposed white fruit flesh tip and the lower boundary curves.
  4. Tap the White 30 jar, the Beige 18 jar, the White 16 jar, and the Orange 20 jar. The peel continues receding while inner white fruit flesh expands into reachable edges.
  5. Tap the Beige 16 jar, the Brown 14 jar, the Black 34 jar, the White 6 jar, and the Beige 5 jar. Ants remove the dark borders and midsection shading.
  6. Tap the Brown 4 jar, the Beige 1 jar, the Yellow 24 jar, the White 9 jar, and the Beige 8 jar. The banana body collapses down to inner white and yellow clusters.
  7. Tap the Beige 46 jar and the Black 14 jar as they open up. Black outline remnants clear out, fully uncovering the central fruit core.
  8. Tap the White 21 jar, the Beige 7 jar, the White 4 jar, the Yellow 12 jar, and the Brown 3 jar to consume the final exposed banana fragments and clear the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping inner fruit jars like large White jars before stripping the outer Black and Brown outlines → White pixels remain enclosed, leaving jars stalled across multiple bays.
  • Sending multiple large Orange jars at once while Yellow peel blocks access → Orange ants cannot reach inner shading, filling up free bays.

Quick tips for Level 316

  • Focus on Black and Brown jars whenever they appear in the front row to break outlines and expose larger surface patches.
  • Keep at least one bay empty to absorb quick low-count jars such as Yellow 3 or White 4.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture shows a half-peeled banana on a wooden easel. Below the ant hole sits a rack of 5 empty bays, resting above rows of coloured jars in a grid.
Goal
Completely remove all pixel blocks from the banana illustration by deploying jars of matching colours to empty the grid.
Opening
Start with the front-row Brown 25, Orange 30, Yellow 3, and Beige 10 jars to tackle the directly exposed outline and tip pixels.
Trap
Calling high-value White jars too early stalls bays because the white banana flesh is shielded behind outer peel and dark boundary lines.
Mechanic
Standard colour matching: ants only strip exterior exposed pixels of their jar colour, decrementing the jar's counter until depleted.

Level 316 questions

  • What jars should I tap first on Level 316?

Tap the Brown 25, Orange 30, Yellow 3, and Beige 10 jars in the front row to clear the outermost edges without clogging your bays.

  • Why did my White jar stop counting down?

The white fruit pixels are buried beneath the yellow peel and black outlines. Clear the covering peel and border jars first to expose more white pixels.
