How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 318 — full solution
- Tap the Red 24 jar, Cyan 19 jar, and Cyan 68 jar from the front row, then Cyan 51, Brown 30, and Pink 44 behind them. Follow with Yellow 18, Brown 98, and Cyan 138. Ants clear outer edges and begin working inward.
- Tap the Light Green 18 jar and Dark Grey 57 jar from the left. Yellow 18 and Brown 98 continue chewing through the exposed flesh and pit while Dark Grey and Light Green ants strip the outer borders, keeping four bays active.
- Tap the Yellow 24 jar, Dark Grey 60 jar, and Yellow 13 jar in order. Brown 98 counts down past 73 while Yellow and Dark Grey ants steadily remove the outer silhouette and surface layers.
- Tap the Cyan 72 jar, Orange 25 jar, Yellow 47 jar, and Orange 20 jar. Ants eat away the orange pit interior and surrounding yellow flesh, freeing up bays as Yellow 18 and Orange 47 finish their counts.
- Tap the Cyan 76 jar, Green 32 jar, Cyan 70 jar, Cyan 37 jar, Red 24 jar, Cyan 54 jar, Yellow 131 jar, and Orange 7 jar. The avocado pit is completely eaten away, exposing the remaining green inner peel.
- Tap the Green 19 jar, Dark Grey 31 jar, Light Green 49 jar, Cyan 88 jar, and Cyan 65 jar, which unblocks the fifth bay. Yellow 66, Green 21, and Orange 2 enter bays to strip the central pulp and lower skin.
- Tap the Yellow 41 jar, Dark Grey 42 jar, Red 8 jar, Green 10 jar, and Yellow 30 jar in any order. The yellow avocado flesh is almost entirely consumed, leaving only fragments of the dark green rind and outline.
- Tap the Dark Grey 35 jar, Dark Grey 40 jar, and Dark Grey 14 jar. Dark Grey and remaining green ants devour the final border pixels, emptying the jar queue completely.
- Allow the Dark Grey 1, Cyan 1, and Green 6 jars to collect the very last pixels on the top-left avocado tip until all bays clear and the level is complete.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Brown 98 or Orange 25 pit jars too early → the seed is buried beneath yellow flesh and rind, so the jars stall in the bays and cause a gridlock.
- Filling all four starting bays with high-count Cyan jars before uncovering inner layers → no free bays remain to bring in the Yellow or Light Green jars needed to uncover more peel.
Quick tips for Level 318
- Work from the outside in: Dark Grey and Cyan pixels must disappear before Yellow or Orange pixels can be reached.
- Keep at least one bay open whenever high-count jars are processing so you can cycle through small transitional jars without stalling.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts a sliced avocado with a whole avocado behind it. Below the ant hole sits a rack of four open bays and one locked fifth bay, followed by a grid of jars stacked five rows deep.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels of the avocado picture by dispatching ant jars matching each layer's colour from the outside in.
- Opening
- Tap the exposed Red and Cyan jars in the front row. These immediately strip the outermost peel edges and background accents, unblocking deeper rows without stalling bays.
- Trap
- The massive Brown 98 and Orange 25 seed jars will stall completely if sent to bays before the outer yellow flesh surrounding the pit has been stripped away.
- Mechanic
- The fifth bay slot begins crossed out and unlocks later in the solve once enough jars have been cleared from the board, expanding your working capacity.
Level 318 questions
-
What should I tap first on Level 318?
Tap the front-row Red and Cyan jars. They eat the exposed outer peel and edge pixels, preventing stalls and opening up the middle row.
-
Why won't my brown and orange jars count down?
Brown and orange pixels form the internal seed. They cannot be eaten until the surrounding yellow and light green flesh pixels are removed first.
