How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 246 — full solution

  1. Tap the front-row Yellow 30, Yellow 30, Pink 30, and Purple 30 jars in any order. As they clear outer border pixels, deploy the newly revealed White 5, Black 25, and Cyan 32 jars to start chipping away the outer edges and outlines.
  2. Let Pink 2, White 5, and Black 25 finish in the bays. Tap the Orange 40 jar from row 1 and the White 11 jar to eat the orange rays and white border segments while Cyan counts down.
  3. Once the bays clear, tap the White 14, Purple 43, Black 22, and Cyan 11 jars in any order. Ants devour the remaining white frame and begin stripping the black hat outline and purple crown pixels.
  4. As White and Black finish, tap the Orange 13, Pink 23, Red 19, and Cyan 10 jars in any order. This strips the hat's red band and outer brim details, leaving all four active bays working.
  5. Allow the active jars to complete, then tap the Orange 4, Pink 6, Yellow 1, and Red 2 jars. These fast jars finish off the lower checker pattern and red band patches, freeing up bays rapidly.
  6. Deploy the Orange 1, Green 4, Black 10, and Cyan 17 jars in any order. The ants carve deeply into the green and cyan hat brim and remove the remaining black framework.
  7. Replace finished jars by tapping Orange 22, White 22, and Cyan 16. The fifth bay unlocks around this time, expanding capacity while the outer brim pixels finish clearing.
  8. Tap the Yellow 18, Cyan 9, Red 32, and Yellow 3 jars into free bays in any order. These chew through the remaining yellow side panels and the remaining hat band pixels.
  9. Tap the final batch of jars: Orange 5, Red 6, Dark Grey 4, White 16, Yellow 16, Orange 2, and Yellow 2 in any order. They clean up the last interior crown pixels to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping high-capacity Purple jars before clearing the cyan and black brim → the hat crown's purple core is fully enclosed, stalling the jar and clogging a bay.
  • Loading multiple Red jars while the outer background is still intact → red pixels sit inside the hat band and cannot be eaten until the outer yellow and orange tiles vanish.

Quick tips for Level 246

  • Work from the outer frame inward by matching jars strictly to visible boundary colors like Yellow, White, and Orange.
  • Use low-number jars immediately when they appear in the front row to free bays quickly and unblock hidden jars beneath.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture is a colorful top hat set against a checkerboard background of yellow, orange, and white. Below the ant hole sit five bays (the fifth initially taped off) and a 4-column jar grid.
Goal
Eat all pixels of the top hat and background using matching colored jars from the grid.
Opening
Start by sending the front-row Yellow and Pink jars to strip the exposed border pixels and reveal the second layer of jars.
Trap
The Purple 43 jar stalls easily if tapped before the outer cyan brim and black outline pixels covering the hat crown are completely stripped.
Mechanic
The fifth bay begins taped shut and becomes available later as pixels clear. Mystery jars marked with '?' reveal their color and count once uncovered.

Level 246 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 246?

Tap the front Yellow and Pink jars first. Their pixels are already exposed on the outer border, keeping your bays cycling smoothly.

  • Why did my Purple jar stop counting down?

The purple pixels make up the hat's inner crown and are sealed behind the cyan brim and black outline. Clear those outer layers first.
