How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 243 — full solution

  1. Send the Dark Grey 20, White 30, Grey 30, and Dark Grey 20 from the front row into the bays. Ants strip the outermost chest outline and border trim, exposing the cyan chest body and upper lid.
  2. Tap the Cyan 30 and Blue 40 uncovered in row 2, followed by the White 15 and Orange 5 as front spaces open. The ants eat into the blue chest front and outer gems, leaving five active bays working down simultaneously.
  3. Deploy the Yellow 10, Orange 21, and Green 5 from the front row as earlier jars exhaust. Ants begin chewing into the gold coin pile and green jewels nestled inside the chest.
  4. Tap the revealed Lilac 18 and Pink 21 to target the sword hilt and purple gems. Follow with the Cyan 6 and Blue 28 to chip away the exposed chest panels, keeping two to three bays rotating.
  5. Send in the Yellow 22, Yellow 1, and Cyan 19 from the active front rows. They consume the remaining treasure hoard and lower chest base, opening up the bottom layers of the jar grid.
  6. Tap the revealed Grey 26 and Blue 16 to target the interior sword blade and the remaining lid backing. Ants shave down the sword structure and lid rim.
  7. Deploy the Dark Grey 33, Blue 8, and Yellow 12 into open bays. Ants strip away the remaining sword handle and internal frame, clearing most of the chest cavity down to roughly 100 pixels.
  8. Send in the Cyan 2, Blue 4, Lilac 21, and Yellow 3 to finish off the sword and remaining lid details. With the sword completely gone, only the upper lid canopy remains.
  9. Tap the Orange 18, Blue 18, and Dark Grey 26 to clear the upper trims. Follow with the White 18, Yellow 5, and Green 6 as the last lid highlights are consumed.
  10. Deploy the final Dark Grey 9, White 22, White 7, and Dark Grey 12 into the bays. Ants strip the last remaining pixels of the chest lid frame to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Pink 17 or Lilac 18 from row 3 too early → purple and pink gems are locked deep inside the chest behind thick blue walls, leaving those jars permanently stalled in bays.

Quick tips for Level 243

  • Work from Dark Grey and White down to Cyan and Blue before touching any Yellow or Orange jars.
  • Always maintain at least one empty bay so newly uncovered front jars can be deployed without stalling.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A 900-pixel illustration of a treasure chest stuffed with gems and pierced by an angled sword sits above five bays and a 4-column jar grid containing multiple layered rows and Mystery jars.
Goal
Eat all 900 pixels off the treasure chest, gems, and sword using ants dispatched from the jar grid.
Opening
Start with the front row Dark Grey 20, White 30, Grey 30, and Dark Grey 20 to strip the exposed outer perimeter.
Trap
Deploying the Pink or Lilac jars early stalls them, as the sword hilt and interior jewels are completely buried under blue chest casing.
Mechanic
Mystery jars marked with question marks only reveal their colour and number once the jar directly in front is sent into a bay.

Level 243 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 243?

Tap the Dark Grey and White jars in the front row. They strip the outside border of the chest, which uncovers the blue and cyan pixels needed for subsequent jars.
