How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 242 — full solution
- Tap the Dark Green 35 jar in the front row, the Cyan 48 jar in row 2, and the Orange 10 jar in row 1. Ants strip the outer starry corners and border pixels.
- Tap the Cyan 20 jar, the Dark Green 41 jar, and the Red 22 jar into the open bays. They continue consuming the outer Teal and Green field and the outermost edge of the eye.
- Tap the Cyan 11 jar, Dark Grey 39 jar, and White 2 jar. The ants remove exposed outer stars and perimeter Dark Grey specks, opening up the Red and Orange outer rings.
- Tap the Red 24 jar, Dark Grey 9 jar, and Yellow 4 jar. Red and Yellow pixels on the outer rings begin clearing, uncovering the layers enclosing the central dark pupil.
- Tap the Orange 13 jar, Dark Grey 12 jar, and Red 29 jar. The remaining outer Red shell and boundary pixels break down, revealing the inner White ring.
- Tap the Red 41 jar, White 7 jar, and Cyan 19 jar. The last background Cyan patches disappear and White pixels outlining the core are eaten.
- Tap the Dark Grey 34 jar, Dark Grey 9 jar, and Yellow 9 jar. The central Dark Grey and Black pupil becomes fully accessible as the inner rings strip away.
- Tap the Red 23 jar, White 24 jar, and Orange 8 jar. The last remaining segments of the outer eye contour are cleared away completely.
- Tap the Yellow 7 jar, White 6 jar, Orange 1 jar, and Dark Grey 4 jar to consume the final core pixels and complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Black or Dark Grey jars right at the start → the Black core is deeply encased inside Red, Orange, and Yellow layers, so the jars stall and clog your bays.
Quick tips for Level 242
- Clear the surrounding Cyan and Dark Green space backdrop first to expose broad sections of the outer Red ring.
- Keep at least two bays free while cycling through the inner Yellow, White, and Black jars to avoid sudden jams.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture shows a cosmic eye design on a space backdrop of Dark Green and Cyan with White stars, surrounded by Red, Orange, and Yellow rings enclosing a Dark Grey/Black pupil.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels of the cosmic space art across multiple concentric colour layers.
- Opening
- Begin with the outer Dark Green and Cyan jars to clean up the space corners and stars before tackling the eye itself.
- Trap
- The Black and Dark Grey core jars cannot work until the outer Red, Orange, Yellow, and White rings are cleared. Sending them early stalls the bays.
- Mechanic
- Standard multilayer pixel stripping; pixels can only be collected once exposed on the outer perimeter of the art.
