How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 239 — full solution

  1. Send the front-row White, Cyan, Light Blue, and Blue jars into the bays. The ants strip the wide snow foreground and the lower cyan path, clearing space around the bottom edges while keeping all five bays cycling.
  2. Send the next Light Blue, Cyan, Blue, and Dark Green jars to the bays. Dark Green ants begin chewing through the outer branches of the two side Christmas trees while blue ants shave down the exposed outer sky.
  3. Tap the revealed Dark Green, Light Blue, Cyan, and Dark Blue jars, followed by Red. Dark Blue ants work through the deep night sky across the top while Red ants start removing the ornaments on the trees.
  4. Send the revealed Yellow, Cyan, White, and Red jars into the bays. Yellow ants eat the stars atop both trees and window highlights, while White and Red continue clearing surrounding snow patches and roof fringes.
  5. Tap the Light Green, Yellow, and Red jars as they become accessible in the grid. Light Green ants peel away the inner foliage of both trees, fully exposing the red tiled roof and yellow cabin front.
  6. Send the next Red, Yellow, White, and Cyan jars to the bays. The ants strip the bulk of the red roof tiles and the yellow cabin facade, uncovering the brown timber structure underneath.
  7. Tap the Brown, Red, and Yellow jars. Brown ants immediately attack the exposed cabin timber and door frame, clearing the central structure and removing the roof counters.
  8. Send the final Dark Green, Light Green, Red, Black, Blue, Cyan, Brown, and White jars to the bays in order as they unlock. The ants eat the remaining night sky, chimney, and roof crest to clear the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Brown jars while the yellow cabin walls and red roof are still intact → Brown pixels are fully buried inside the house, causing the Brown jar to stall and clog a bay.

Quick tips for Level 239

  • Focus on stripping the side trees and snow banks early to expose the deeper layers of the cabin.
  • Keep bays rotating by alternating between sky colours at the top and snow colours at the bottom.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A snowy winter scene featuring a central cabin with a red roof, surrounded by two Christmas trees, a snowfield below, and a night sky above. Five bays sit above a grid displaying three rows of four jars that replenish from below.
Goal
Clear all pixels of the winter cabin scene by matching coloured jars to exposed pixel edges until the entire board is consumed.
Opening
Start with the White, Cyan, Light Blue, and Blue jars from the front row. These target the fully exposed lower snowbanks and perimeter sky safely without stalling.
Trap
Brown and Black pixels are buried deep in the cabin structure and chimney. Tapping Brown jars before peeling away the outer roof and yellow walls will permanently stall a bay.
Mechanic
Colour counter badges rest on the cabin sections, tracking remaining pixel totals. Jars feed forward row by row as front jars are dispatched into bays.

Level 239 questions

  • What should I clear first on Level 239?

Clear the bottom snow field and side Christmas trees using White, Cyan, Light Blue, and Dark Green jars to open paths into the cabin.

  • Why is my Brown jar not moving?

Brown pixels belong to the cabin timber and door, which are shielded by the yellow wall facade and red roof. Clear those outer layers first.
