How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 156 — full solution
- Tap the Cyan 30 jar (row 1, left), White 20 jar (row 1, second from left), Brown 20 jar (row 1, third from left), and the revealed Dark Grey 30 jar (row 2, left). Ants strip the outer cyan crescent and perimeter outline, freeing space in the front row.
- Tap the Orange 20 jar (row 1, right) and Cyan 40 jar (row 1, second from left). The ants clear the honey jar lid and continue shaving the lower cyan edge while earlier white and dark grey jars complete their counts.
- Tap the Hot Pink 13 jar (row 1, left), White 20 jar (row 1, third from left), and Orange 25 jar (row 2, second from left). Ants eat the pink cheek details and moon edge, exposing deeper interior yellow and brown layers.
- Tap the Yellow 20 jar (row 1, right) and Cyan 40 jar (row 1, right) to send yellow ants against the exposed bee stripes and strip remaining cyan pixels from the honey pot.
- Tap the Black 31 jar and White 41 jar as they appear in the front row. They work simultaneously on the inner outline of the bee and the white surface of the moon, opening three bays when finished.
- Tap the Yellow 28 jar (row 1, center), Cyan 16 jar, and Orange 15 jar to chew away the main body of the sleeping bee and the outer rim of the honey jar.
- Tap the Hot Pink jar, Orange 19 jar, and Yellow 14 jar (row 1, right). These consume the remaining wing highlights and belly stripes of the bee, leaving only the brown fur and dark outlines.
- Tap the Dark Green 18 jar, Brown 30 jar (row 1, center), and Brown 34 jar. They strip the dark fur of the bee's back and head.
- Tap the final Dark Grey 20 jar, Dark Grey 33 jar, and Orange 2 jar in the front row. The last ants clear the remaining moon shading and bee antenna pixels to finish the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Yellow 20 jar in the opening → the yellow bee body is trapped behind the outer cyan moon and black outlines, causing the jar to stall in a bay and block your buffer.
- Tapping interior Brown and Orange jars before the Cyan 30 and White 20 outer layers are stripped → both jars sit idle with zero matching pixels exposed, filling four bays immediately.
Quick tips for Level 156
- Work from the outer crescent moon inward; cyan and white must clear before yellow and orange ants can reach the bee.
- Reserve at least two empty bays whenever selecting high-count jars so low-count border jars can clear quickly.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts a sleeping honeybee resting on a smiling crescent moon next to a honey jar. Five bays sit above a three-row jar grid that refills from behind.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel layers of the crescent moon, sleeping bee, and honey jar by feeding matching jars to the five bays.
- Opening
- Tap the front Cyan 30 and White 20 jars. These target the fully exposed outer edges of the crescent moon safely without stalling.
- Trap
- The Yellow 20 jar visible in row 2 is completely covered by the black outline and outer moon; tapping it early locks a bay until mid-game.
- Mechanic
- Pixels can only be eaten from exposed edges; inner layers of the bee become targetable only after perimeter outlines and the moon background disappear.
Level 156 questions
-
What jars should I tap first on Level 156?
Start with the front Cyan 30 and White 20 jars to clear the exposed outer moon crescent before touching any yellow or brown jars.
-
Why do my yellow jars stall on Level 156?
The yellow bee body is entirely enclosed by black outlines and the cyan moon. You must clear the surrounding borders before yellow ants can reach their pixels.
