How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 153 — full solution

  1. Tap Beige 20 (row 1, col 1), White 15 (row 1, col 2), and Green 15 (row 1, col 3). As row 2 opens, tap White 38 and the revealed Black 24. Ants strip the outer border, feet, and frog eye contours; three bays remain occupied.
  2. Tap Cyan 12, Light Green 8, White 12, White 41, and Blue 14 into the bays in any order. The ants eat into the frog's green hood and outer white feathers, peeling away layers of the chick's body.
  3. As bays clear, tap Light Green 25, Yellow 7, White 18, and Light Blue 2. Ants swarm the yellow beak, frog collar, and lower white belly, dismantling the chick's lower body and exposing deeper mystery jars.
  4. Send Grey 28, Orange 22, Light Green 23, Yellow 5, and Blue 13 to the bays. Ants eat away the orange beak, yellow accents, and green frog cape, leaving the duck's white head and frog headpiece.
  5. Tap Grey 4, Orange 1, White 24, Yellow 3, and Blue 3 in any order as bays clear. Ants consume the orange beak tip and white cheeks, uncovering the bottom layers of mystery jars in the grid.
  6. Deploy Beige 7, Blue 14, Orange 9, and Blue 3 to the bays. The ants strip the remaining beige accents and side plumage, uncovering the forehead and frog eye structures while revealing White 31 and Lilac 4.
  7. Tap Light Green 2, Blue 12, Orange 5, and Black 22 into the bays. Ants strip the frog hat's green forehead and dark eye borders, leaving only the upper hat trim and final facial pixels.
  8. Tap Yellow 5, White 58, Black 12, Blue 5, Light Green 12, and White 29 into the bays. Ants consume every pixel of the frog hat and chick head, completely emptying the board and clearing the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Orange 60 before the chick's face is uncovered → orange pixels are completely blocked behind the beige and white body, permanently stalling a bay.
  • Filling all five bays with green and white jars at the start → prevents accessing the revealed mystery jars beneath, causing an immediate gridlock.

Quick tips for Level 153

  • Target outer border colours such as Beige and Dark Green first to steadily peel back layers toward the centre.
  • Keep at least one bay open when revealing mystery jars so you have room to react to unexpected colours.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
Five bays sit above a central ant hole, with a four-column jar grid below and a pixel-art chick wearing a green frog hat above.
Goal
Clear all pixels of the chick wearing a frog hat by matching jar colours to exposed outer pixels.
Opening
Tap Beige 20, White 15, and Green 15 from the front row. These target the exposed outer edges, feet, and hat border without risking stalled bays.
Trap
Tapping high-count inner jars like Orange 60 or White 58 too early stalls bays, as the chick's beak and inner face pixels remain blocked behind the outer green hat and beige body.
Mechanic
Mystery jars marked with question marks only reveal their colour and number once the jar directly in front of them is tapped and removed.
