How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 159 — full solution
- Tap the Orange 41 jar on the right, followed by the emerging Orange 14, Black 16, Light Blue 20, and Yellow 3 jars. The orange and yellow ants eat away the outer rim of the plate while black and blue trim the borders, filling all five bays.
- As the initial jars empty, tap the Cyan 23, White 14, Cyan 13, Black 17, and Dark Grey 19 jars. The cyan and dark grey ants strip the teal rim of the pan and surrounding outlines, bringing the picture down to 379 pixels.
- Tap the Cyan 11, Cyan 1, Cyan 6, White 1, and Orange 9 jars into the free bays in any order. Ants devour the pan handle and remaining outer edge pixels, uncovering the cake base and dropping the count to 291.
- Release the Orange 19, Cyan 2, Cyan 2, White 10, and Beige 6 jars as bay spots open. The ants dismantle the bottom base of the platter and expose the lower cake slice layers, leaving 182 pixels remaining.
- Send the Hot Pink 8, Pink 5, Black 8, Orange 28, and Cyan 2 jars into the bays. Ants strip the pink frosting and decorative toppings off the cake slice, reducing the remaining pixel count to 88.
- Tap the Yellow 6, Orange 36, Grey 19, Black 8, and Orange 15 jars as earlier jars clear. These ants eat through the cake sponge layers and side crusts, shrinking the remaining food image down to just 3 pixels.
- Release the Purple 11, Orange 15, White 5, Black 26, and Cyan 2 jars into the open bays. Ants target the candle flame, purple accents, and inner structure lines, leaving only a few stray pixels.
- Tap the final Red 15 jar from the grid. The remaining ants clear the final crumbs and border pixels across the board, completely clearing the picture to win the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the White 14 jar in the opening before clearing the pan rim → white pixels belong to the inner cake layer and candle, leaving the jar stalled in a bay until the plate is eaten away.
- Tapping the Purple 20 jar while the candle topping is still covered by frosting → purple has no exposed pixels and locks a bay for multiple phases.
Quick tips for Level 159
- Work from the outside in: prioritize Orange, Yellow, and Cyan jars early to strip the surrounding platter before touching frosting and sponge colours.
- Keep at least one bay cycling rapidly with small-count jars so you never get jammed by large lingering counts.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel-art slice of frosted cake with a candle sitting inside a teal skillet with an orange and yellow base. Five empty bays sit below the ant hole above a grid of concealed jar columns.
- Goal
- Completely devour all 500 pixels of the cake and pan using matching ant jars.
- Opening
- Start by tapping the Orange 41 jar on the front right. Orange pixels form the bottom rim of the pan, making it completely safe to clear first.
- Trap
- Tapping the front-row White 14 jar too early stalls a bay immediately because all white cake filling and candle pixels are shielded behind the outer plate.
- Mechanic
- Layered pixel clearance: ants cannot reach interior pixels until the surrounding perimeter pixels of overlying colours are fully eaten.
Level 159 questions
-
What should I tap first on Level 159?
Tap the Orange 41 jar on the front right. Orange is fully exposed around the outer plate base and keeps your ants moving immediately.
-
Why does my White jar stop eating pixels?
White pixels are buried inside the cake slice and candle. You must peel off the pan rim and outer crust before white pixels become reachable.
