How to beat Colony Flow! Level 520 — full solution
- Phase 1: Tap the White 20, Brown 25, and Dark Purple 50 from the front row. Ants remove outer White borders and begin chewing through the upper Brown framing and outer Dark Purple sides.
- Phase 2: Tap the Pink 25, Red 40, and linked White 35 + Purple 37 pair into the slots. White clears the remaining outer border pixels, allowing Purple and Pink to start targeting peripheral features.
- Phase 3: Deploy the Brown 29, Red 7, and Pink 12 boxes into the available slots. The ants clear the wide Brown horizontal chin borders, breaking the lower frame open completely.
- Phase 4: Tap the Black 26 and Dark Purple 45 boxes. They carry away the deep Dark Purple and Black boundary pixels framing the hair and cheek outlines.
- Phase 5: Release the linked Pink 26 + Dark Purple 26 pair alongside Red 18 to expose internal face colours. These clear thick segments of the Red face mask and Dark Purple hair.
- Phase 6: Tap the Yellow 13 and White 30 boxes. The ants strip the yellow eye highlights and central teeth details, leaving only core facial tiles.
- Phase 7: Tap the remaining Black 16, Pink 9, and Red boxes to strip the central red forehead and nose sections. The entire pixel art clears completely.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping internal Red or Yellow boxes before outer borders clear → the boxes sit stalled in slots because their colours are fully enclosed behind Brown and Dark Purple blocks.
- Deploying linked pairs like White 35 + Purple 37 when only one slot is open → linked boxes require two vacant slots and cannot enter individually.
Quick tips for Level 520
- Prioritize White and Brown boxes early, as these form the entire outermost perimeter of the face.
- Reserve slots for linked boxes by ensuring at least two open spaces before tapping a linked pair.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel portrait framed by outer White, Brown, and Dark Purple layers enclosing internal Red, Pink, Black, and Yellow sections. Beneath sit five slots, a single ant nest hole, and a 4-row stack of ant boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel blocks from the board using ant boxes from the stack without filling all five slots with inactive boxes.
- Opening
- Start by tapping the front-row White 20 and Brown 25 boxes. These colours immediately contact exposed perimeter blocks and clear slots quickly.
- Trap
- Tapping the Red 40 box while Red is still completely buried beneath White and Brown blocks leaves Red stuck in a slot, blocking future moves.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes joined by a connecting bar must enter the slots together, requiring two unoccupied slots simultaneously.
