How to beat Colony Flow! Level 523 — full solution
- With Cyan 29 already active in slot 1, tap Black 11 from the front row left, Light Green 26 and Light Green 25 from the middle, and Cyan 30 from the right. The black ants strip the duck's eye and line details, while the cyan and light green ants peel away the outer pond perimeter.
- Tap Light Green 20 and Green 5 as front slots open up, followed by Light Green 22 and Cyan 24 from the newly unlocked front row. These carry away the remaining outer pond water and lily pad foliage, exposing the edges of the duck's body and the lower flowers.
- Tap the revealed front-row boxes Black 1 and Brown 15 into open slots. The black ants instantly finish remaining dark outlines, while the brown ants begin picking away at the reeds and nest base under the duck.
- Tap Green 6, Light Blue 4, and Yellow 9 into the available slots. The light blue and green ants remove the water ripples and inner foliage, while the yellow ants begin stripping the outer border of the duck's body.
- Tap Red 20 from the front of the stack as soon as it becomes available. The red ants clear the prominent crest on the duck's head and the red flower petals at the bottom, removing locks from the rear mystery boxes.
- Tap Yellow 29, Red 21, Red 2, and Red 3 into the empty bays. The yellow and red ants rapidly dismantle the duck's entire body, beak, and crest, leaving behind only the brown nest blocks at the bottom of the picture.
- Tap Cyan 30 and any remaining secondary foliage boxes to clear away the last background water blocks behind the duck's former position.
- Tap Brown 34 from the front row into an open bay. The brown ants carry the final remaining nest blocks directly into the nest hole to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Red 20 or Yellow 29 while the cyan water still covers the duck → red and yellow blocks are entirely internal, so those boxes stall in the slots and cause a game-over clog.
- Tapping Brown 34 early in the solve → the brown nest blocks are largely buried beneath foliage and water, leaving the high-count brown box stuck in a slot for almost the entire level.
Quick tips for Level 523
- Work from the outside in: clear cyan sky/water and light green leaves before touching yellow duck boxes.
- Low-count boxes like Black 11 and Black 1 finish almost immediately; use them to safely cycle rows in the stack without clogging slots.
