Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 522 Walkthrough
Clear a tropical beach scene by matching ant boxes to exposed sky, clouds, and palm trees. Work through the outer borders and upper sky first before tapping into inner tree trunks and sand. Avoid clogging slots with Brown or Beige boxes early while they remain buried.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 522 — full solution
- Start with Blue 36, Green 30, and Blue 40 already working in the slots. In any order, tap Light Blue 40 from the front row and Cyan 43 once revealed, clearing the upper sky and outer foliage until the opening blue boxes finish.
- Tap Green 30, Light Blue 40, and the second Green 30 into the free slots. Ants strip the upper palm canopy and the exposed sea layers, leaving Light Blue 28, Green 6, Cyan 38, Green 26, and Light Blue 32 active across all five slots.
- Allow Green 6 and the remaining canopy ants to finish stripping the green leaves. Tap White 40 from the stack to begin clearing the clouds and beach foam, cycling the slots into Light Blue 28, White 19, Cyan 38, Green 30, and Cyan 24.
- Tap Blue 34 and Green 34 from the front row as slots open. Ants remove the middle sky layer and the lower fronds, exposing the inner palm trunks and deeper water layers.
- Tap Blue 40 and Cyan 40 to continue stripping the water surface and sky background, bringing the slots to Blue 19, Blue 19, Cyan 7, White 17, and Green 26.
- Tap Beige 25, Green 30, and Green 30 from the front row in any order to strip the exposed shoreline and remaining greenery. This fully uncovers the fence, trunks, and sand base.
- Tap White 38 to clear the fence and surf lines, then tap the linked Blue 10 and Blue 12 pair from the stack into two open slots to strip the remaining central water band.
- Tap Beige 15 and Blue 7 to finish clearing the foreground sand and sea, leaving the board down to the inner tree trunks and final background blocks.
- Tap Brown 30, Grey 35, and Blue 40 in any order from the remaining stack. The ants carry away the palm trunks and the last sky fragments to clear the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Beige 25 or Brown 30 early in the level → the sand at the bottom and the palm trunks are covered by the fence, sea, and leaves, causing those boxes to stall indefinitely and lock up the slots.
- Tapping the linked Blue 10 and Blue 12 pair when only one slot is open → linked boxes require two adjacent free slots simultaneously, risking an accidental tap or deadlock if slots are congested.
Quick tips for Level 522
- Focus on clearing the top canopy and upper sky first; stripping the Green and Blue blocks exposes the lower White fence and Brown trunks underneath.
- Save the linked blue boxes until two bays are completely clear so both enter smoothly without blocking single-box rotations.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel-art beach scene featuring two palm trees, a fence, ocean, and sky. Below the nest are five slots and a stack arranged four boxes wide across several depth rows.
- Goal
- Carry away all pixel blocks from the picture using matching ant boxes from the stack until the image is cleared.
- Opening
- The level begins with Blue 36, Green 30, and Blue 40 already active in the first three slots, naturally targeting the exposed outer canopy and sky.
- Trap
- The Brown 30 box hidden deeper in the stack cannot work until both palm tree trunks are completely uncovered; tapping it while leaves and fence remain will freeze the slot.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes share a connector and must be placed into two free slots at the same time, requiring careful slot management.
Level 522 questions
-
When should I clear the palm trunks in Level 522?
Wait until the green leaves above and the white fence below are completely stripped. Only tap Brown boxes once the trunk pixels have exposed edges.
-
How do linked boxes work when slots are full?
Linked boxes cannot enter if only one slot is open. Ensure you have two empty slots available before tapping either linked box.
