How to beat Colony Flow! Level 514 — full solution
- Tap the front row of Light Blue boxes (Light Blue 40, Light Blue 42, Light Blue 40, Light Blue 42, and Light Blue 46) across row 1 in any order. Their ants clear the outer perimeter of the light blue sky, exposing the second row of the stack and cycling through the slots.
- Tap the linked Black 5 and Light Blue 12 pair from row 2, followed by Light Blue 6 and Light Blue 7. Black 5 lodges in slot 1 unable to work because black blocks are buried, while the light blue ants strip away more of the surrounding sky.
- Tap the newly accessible Light Blue 35 and Light Blue 40 from the left and right of the front row, then send in Light Blue 1 to maintain sky clearance. This chips away the upper background, exposing the orange body segments while Black 5 remains stuck in slot 1.
- Tap Orange 15 and Orange 34 from the middle of the stack to strip the outer orange wings. Once orange blocks are clearing, tap Light Blue 30 and the two Light Blue 15 boxes into the open bays to chip away the remaining blue backdrop.
- Tap Orange 20 and Orange 35 from row 1 to finish stripping the orange character body and break down the 200-block central counter shield. This reveals the yellow beak, white hood segments, and the hidden black facial features inside.
- With black blocks now exposed on the face, the stalled Black 5 box finally activates, collects the facial pixels, and clears its slot. Tap the revealed Yellow 9 box to gather the exposed yellow face blocks.
- Tap Brown 31 and Brown 35 from the stack to harvest the brown base structure beneath the character. Concurrently tap Light Blue 36 and Light Blue 40 into the remaining bays to continue removing the upper sky remnants as mystery boxes reveal their colours.
- Tap the final Light Blue boxes (Light Blue 32, Light Blue 3, Light Blue 2, and Light Blue 5) in any order into the remaining slots. Their ants collect the last few light blue tiles along the frame edge to complete the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Orange boxes before the light blue sky clears the orange wings → orange ants have nowhere to harvest, clogging a slot while light blue boxes are still needed.
- Letting non-functional boxes fill the remaining slots alongside the linked Black 5 → Black 5 cannot work until the face is breached, so filling the other four slots causes an immediate deadlock.
Quick tips for Level 514
- When a linked box forces an inactive colour into the slots, treat your remaining capacity as four slots or fewer.
- Focus all initial digging on the outer sky to expose the embedded 200-block counter before tapping character colours.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel art portrait of a character in a white and cyan hood sits atop an orange and brown sled against a light blue sky. Below the nest are five slots and a multi-row stack of boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all 730 pixel blocks from the board, including the central 200-block shielded counter.
- Opening
- Tap the full front row of Light Blue boxes across row 1 to rapidly peel away the light blue sky background.
- Trap
- The linked Black 5 box enters the slots early through its Light Blue partner, but its black targets are locked deep behind the face and the 200-block barrier.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes share a connecting rod and must slide into slots simultaneously, requiring two available slots.
Level 514 questions
-
Why is the Black 5 box stuck in my slots on Level 514?
Black 5 enters via a linked Light Blue box, but black tiles only exist in the figure's face behind the central 200-block counter. It will clear once that shield is removed.
