How to beat Colony Flow! Level 420 — full solution
- Tap the exposed Cyan, White, Yellow, Orange, and Brown boxes from the front of the stack into the five slots in any order. The ants attack the perimeter of the image, clearing outer sky tiles, white cloud blocks, and the edges of the hive and branch.
- Let the White 18 box finish clearing the clouds and bee wings, freeing its slot. Replace it with another exposed Cyan box to keep stripping the sky from around the bees.
- Deploy the Black 35 box into the open slot once the bee stripes and hive entrance become exposed. Black ants carry away the bee stripes and the dark opening of the beehive.
- Tap the linked Cyan and Black pair once two adjacent slots open up. Clearing the lower-right sky blocks fully exposes the yellow key sitting among the tiles.
- Collect the yellow key to unlock the Brown 30 box embedded in the tree branch. Tap the Light Green 4 box to strip the leaves along the branch, freeing up that slot quickly.
- Tap the Red and Dark Green boxes from the stack as the middle and inner layers of the hive and branch are exposed. Red ants strip the hive shading while Dark Green clears the remaining foliage.
- Deploy the remaining Yellow and Orange boxes alongside Cyan to clear the core of the beehive and the last surrounding sky tiles until the board is completely empty.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the linked Orange 40 and Cyan 40 pair when only one slot is free → both boxes cannot enter together and tapping fails, wasting time during fast countdowns.
- Deploying the Black 35 box before the bee wings and hive border are stripped → black blocks remain covered, causing the box to stall and block a slot.
Quick tips for Level 420
- Prioritize clearing the lower-right sky early to expose and collect the yellow key required to unlock the locked Brown box.
- Linked boxes require two free slots simultaneously; hold off on tapping them until two single-colour boxes have completely emptied their counts.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A large beehive hangs from a leafy branch on the left, with two bees hovering on the right against a blue sky with white clouds. Five slots sit beneath the picture, above a five-column stack of boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel blocks of the beehive, bees, branch, and background sky using ant boxes from the stack without jamming all five slots.
- Opening
- Start by deploying Cyan, White, and Brown boxes to peel the outer sky, clouds, and upper branch, opening room to work inward toward the bees and hive.
- Trap
- The locked Brown box in the branch cannot be cleared until the yellow key hidden under the lower-right sky blocks is collected; neglecting that area stalls branch progress.
- Mechanic
- This super hard level includes vertically linked boxes that occupy two slots simultaneously when tapped, as well as a locked box that requires an exposed key from the picture.
Level 420 questions
-
How do I unlock the locked Brown box on Level 420?
Clear the Cyan sky blocks on the lower-right side of the picture to uncover the yellow key. Once ants pick up the key, the lock breaks.
