How to beat Colony Flow! Level 416 — full solution
- Deploy the Purple 32, Purple 39, and Purple 38 boxes into the first three slots. Their ants clear the outermost purple border blocks around the top and sides of the frame, exposing the tips of the yellow hair.
- Tap the front-row Yellow boxes (Yellow 32 and Yellow 34) in any order as yellow perimeter blocks become exposed, followed by Pink 3. Ants harvest the perimeter yellow hair and hair accessory, reducing the picture counters significantly.
- Deploy Black 36, White 40, and Black 40 as they reach the front of the stack once yellow blocks strip away to reveal the inner white cheeks and black facial outlines. Yellow 27, Pink 3, Black 11, and Purple 31 work concurrently across the bays.
- Tap Green 8 and the remaining front-row Yellow 40 box to strip Isabelle's green collar and ears. Empty slots then receive Pink 9 and White 14 to eat into the white muzzle and shirt areas.
- Send Purple 38 and Purple 18 to finish the remaining purple background clusters on both upper flanks, clearing slots as the central counter drops to zero.
- Deploy Red 10 and Red 10 into open slots to collect the exposed mouth and collar accents, followed by White 18 and Yellow 30 to strip the remaining face and ear blocks.
- Tap the Black 35 and Black 34 boxes to clear the eyes, nose, and inner facial outlines once the surrounding yellow and white blocks have been fully stripped.
- Release the final Blue/Purple 40 box into the remaining open slot. Its ants clean up the last purple background blocks in the upper corners to finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Black 40 or Black 35 on the very first turn → Isabelle's black eyes and nose are deeply buried under purple, yellow, and white layers, leaving black boxes stuck in the bays and causing an early jam.
- Deploying both Red 10 boxes before the mouth and collar are uncovered → red blocks have zero perimeter exposure in the early game and will permanently block two slots.
Quick tips for Level 416
- Always match your box deployments to the outermost visible layer: clear purple background first, then outer yellow ears, followed by white face sections.
- Reserve at least two empty slots while processing interior colors so that quick-clearing single-digit boxes do not get trapped behind stalled counters.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A large central pixel-art portrait of Isabelle enclosed in a purple frame sits above a single ant nest hole and five holding slots. Below the slots sits a multi-row stack, four boxes wide.
- Goal
- Strip all colored blocks comprising the portrait and background until every counter reaches zero and all blocks are carried into the nest.
- Opening
- Start with the Purple 32, Purple 39, and Purple 38 boxes in the slots to eat through the wide purple border before touching any internal character colors.
- Trap
- Black 40 and Black 35 sit directly in the front row of the stack at the start, tempting an early tap even though black pixels are buried deep in the character's facial features.
- Mechanic
- Layered pixel clearance requires peeling outer perimeter colors first; ants cannot access interior colors until surrounding blocks are completely cleared away.
Level 416 questions
-
Why do my Black boxes get stuck early in Level 416?
Black is only used for Isabelle's eyes and nose deep inside the face. Do not tap black boxes until the surrounding purple, yellow, and white blocks have been stripped away.
