Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 421 Walkthrough
Level 421 features a multi-coloured pixel character portrait set above a brown pedestal with locked boxes in the stack. Strip the exterior green foliage and dark purple hair first to reveal embedded keys and internal white features. Avoid opening enclosed white boxes before their layers are fully exposed.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 421 — full solution
- Tap the Black 34 box (front row, column 1) and the Dark Purple 40 box (front row, column 2). Their ants attack the outer perimeter and the upper purple hair, while the two starting Green 30 boxes clear the corner foliage.
- Tap the Dark Purple 40 box (front row, column 3) and the Black 35 box (front row, column 4). Ants continue stripping the dark outer shell, keeping all five slots occupied without jamming.
- Allow the active Dark Purple and Black boxes to clear outer blocks down to roughly 275 blocks remaining. The outer silhouette recedes, exposing the cyan key embedded in the right side of the character.
- Collect the cyan key to unlock the locked Black 38 box in column 4. Tap the White 40 box (front row, column 1) and the White 28 box (front row, column 2) to target the exposed face and collar pixels.
- Tap the Black 40 box and the Dark Purple 38 box as they reach the front row. The character face and hair clear rapidly down to 70 blocks, exposing the broad brown pedestal at the base.
- Clear the brown pedestal blocks and tap the Green 24 box (column 2) along with Dark Purple 40. The green ear tips and lower body structures clear completely.
- Tap the White 26, Black 24, and Dark Purple 28 boxes in any order. Their ants remove the remaining mid-body structural blocks, leaving only scattered outline fragments near the top.
- Tap the Dark Purple 34 box and the revealed mystery box in column 3. The final White and Dark Purple ants carry away the remaining purple blocks to clear the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping White 40 before the dark purple hair is stripped → White pixels are fully encased inside the character, causing the white box to stall in a slot and block progress.
- Attempting to clear the brown base early → Brown blocks form the foundation beneath the character, so brown ant boxes cannot work until the upper structure recedes.
Quick tips for Level 421
- Prioritize peeling the perimeter colours first so interior keys and bright pixels become reachable.
- Monitor the cyan key icon inside the character's right side to unlock the Black 38 box as soon as possible.

- Opening
- With two Green 30 boxes already active in the slots, tap the front Black 34 and Dark Purple 40 boxes to begin carving into the exposed upper silhouette.
- Trap
- The White 40 and White 28 boxes in row 2 will stall completely if deployed before the dark purple hair enclosing the face is cleared away.
- Mechanic
- A locked Black 38 box in the stack requires freeing a cyan key embedded inside the character's right torso.
