Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 418 Walkthrough
Level 418 features a black bird and yellow genie lamp enclosed in a solid red background. Strip away the outer red border and brown base first to reach the black body and white belly, unlocking the yellow key to free the locked stack. Avoid tapping inner accent colours like Green before their target blocks are uncovered.
How to beat Colony Flow! Level 418 — full solution
- Deploy the front-row Red 55 box (middle column) alongside the active Red 54 and Red 55 boxes in the slots. The red ants strip away the exposed outer red border and bottom corners, widening access to the inner layers. Four slots are in use.
- Tap the Black 50 box (front row, column 4) and Black 55 box (front row, column 5). As the outer red blocks fall away, tap the newly accessible Red 55 box (row 2, column 5). Black and red ants steadily whittle down the bottom pedestal and border.
- Tap the White 19 box from the front row (far left) and an exposed Black 50 box. White ants begin carrying away the newly exposed white belly of the bird, while black ants finish stripping the brown pedestal completely, freeing up the bottom edge.
- Tap the Red 50 box and Red 55 box from the left side of the stack. Red ants clear large swathes of the remaining lower and side red framing, exposing the bird's dark torso and the contours of the yellow lamp.
- Tap the Black 50 box (front row, column 2) and Black 45 to break into the main bulk of the bird's black body. Keep one Red box active to remove perimeter blocks until the embedded yellow keys inside the lamp become reachable.
- With surrounding blocks removed, the yellow key reaches the nest and unlocks the yellow padlocked box in the front row. Tap the unlocked Yellow box to send yellow ants swarming the exposed lamp body and bird beak, opening two slots as it empties.
- Tap the White 11 and White 5 boxes to finish stripping the bird's white belly and eye highlights. Follow by tapping the Green 5 box once the green sprout atop the lamp is uncovered, clearing the accent detail cleanly.
- Tap the Light Blue 20 box and the linked Yellow pairs (Yellow 44, Yellow 51, and Yellow 55) to clear the remaining lamp base. Finally, tap the last Red 55 boxes to carry away the top background blocks and complete the level.
On this board:
Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Green 5 box from the front row before exposing the lamp sprout → green blocks are buried deep inside, causing the box to remain stuck in a slot indefinitely.
- Activating linked Yellow boxes while having fewer than two empty slots → the joined pair requires two adjacent free slots and can overflow the queue, locking the board.
Quick tips for Level 418
- Focus on clearing the red perimeter first so the inner white and yellow layers become exposed before calling those ant colours.
- Ensure at least two slots are vacant before tapping vertically linked boxes, which always drop into the slots as a pair.
- Hold the Green 5 box in the stack until the tiny green lamp sprout is fully uncovered to prevent wasting a slot.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The pixel picture depicts a black bird perched on a yellow genie lamp against a wide red background, resting on a brown base. Beneath the nest sits a row of five slots and a five-column stack of ant boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all coloured blocks from the pixel picture by feeding them into the nest. No countdown timer is present on this level.
- Opening
- Start with the active Red boxes in the slots clearing the outer border, then deploy the front-row Red 55 and Black 50 boxes to dismantle the exposed outer frame and pedestal.
- Trap
- Tapping the front-row Green 5 or Light Blue 20 boxes too early stalls them in the slots, as their corresponding blocks inside the genie lamp remain buried beneath thick Red and Black layers.
- Mechanic
- Padlocked boxes remain inactive in the stack until their matching coloured key embedded in the picture is freed by clearing adjacent blocks. Linked boxes joined by a vertical connector deploy together when tapped, requiring two free slots.
Level 418 questions
-
What should I clear first in Colony Flow! Level 418?
Clear the outer Red border and the base blocks first using Red and Black boxes. This exposes the bird's white chest and the yellow lamp keys needed to unlock the stack.
-
Why is the yellow box in the stack locked?
The yellow box has a padlock that only unlocks after your ants excavate the yellow key icons embedded inside the genie lamp in the picture.
