normal Live 4 colours / pieces Checked September 20, 2026

Level 41 features a symmetrical nine-patch quilt pattern of concentric squares in purple, red, blue, and yellow. Clear outer borders layer by layer using matching ant boxes to uncover inner rings without clogging the five slots.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 41 — full solution

  1. Tap the front row: Purple 30 (row 1, left), Red 35 (row 1, middle), and Blue 36 (row 1, right). Follow with Red 35 (row 2, left) and Red 35 (row 2, middle). All five slots are filled, rapidly stripping the outer perimeter until all five boxes empty.
  2. Tap Red 35 (front row, left), Yellow 40 (front row, middle), and Blue 32 (front row, right). Three slots are occupied as the ants clear the outer red, yellow, and blue bands, emptying completely to leave all five slots free.
  3. Tap Red 35 (front row, left), Yellow 40 (front row, middle), and Blue 36 (front row, right). Immediately tap Purple 32 (row 2, left) and the revealed Blue 17 (row 2, right). All five slots fill to dismantle outer concentric borders until each box empties.
  4. Tap Red 35 (front row, left), Yellow 38 (front row, middle), Blue 36 (front row, right), and Blue 17 (row 2, right). Four slots are filled, steadily chewing through the layered red, yellow, and blue lattices.
  5. As Red 35 empties, tap Yellow 37 (front row, left) into the open slot. Yellow 38 and Blue 36 soon finish, after which tap Red 38 (front row, left) to keep the exposed red blocks clearing continuously.
  6. As the yellow boxes clear, tap Yellow 35 (front row, middle) and Purple 32 (front row, right). Blue 17 and Red 38 empty quickly, leaving three active slots whittling down the inner patterns.
  7. Tap Red 35 (front row, left) and Blue 36 (front row, middle) to harvest the freshly exposed red and blue blocks. Yellow 35 and Purple 32 reach zero and leave their slots open.
  8. Tap Blue 35 (front row, left), then tap Red 35 (front row, left) and Yellow 40 (front row, middle) into the remaining open slots. The ants clear the final central blocks, emptying all three boxes to finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Purple 32 before the red and blue borders surrounding the purple blocks are stripped → purple ants have no exposed blocks and idle in a slot, reducing buffer space.
  • Filling all five slots with duplicate red boxes when only a narrow red strip is exposed → ants bottleneck at the nest while slots remain locked.

Quick tips for Level 41

  • Each motif is layered from the outside in; focus on stripping outer perimeter rings completely before calling boxes for inner core colours.
  • Keep at least one slot open or ensure at least one active box has abundant exposed blocks to avoid filling all five slots with stuck boxes.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A square grid shaped like a nine-patch quilt pattern made of concentric squares of red, blue, purple, and yellow blocks. Five holding slots sit below the board above a multi-row stack of ant boxes.
Goal
Carry away all coloured blocks from the quilt picture into the nests using 26 ant boxes. No timer is active on this level.
Opening
Tap the front row's Purple 30, Red 35, and Blue 36, followed by the two revealed Red 35 boxes to simultaneously strip the entire outer perimeter.
Trap
Deploying Purple 32 or Yellow 40 before outer rings are stripped can strand them in slots with zero exposed blocks, locking down slot capacity.
Mechanic
Mystery boxes reveal their true colour and number once they shift into the front row of the stack.

Level 41 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 41?

Tap Purple 30, Red 35, and Blue 36 from the front row, then the two revealed Red 35 boxes. This uses all five slots to peel the entire outer frame simultaneously.
