Colony Flow! Level 402 Walkthrough
Level 402 features a portrait of Jasmine guarded by 400- and 600-block brown counter barriers. Clear outer white tiles and dark purple hair first to run down the counter blocks without jamming slots. Avoid triggering the linked yellow and blue pair until dark purple frees up slot capacity.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 402 — full solution
- Tap White 35 (col 1, front) and White 35 (col 1, middle) into slots 4 and 5. As White 35 in slot 1 finishes, tap Dark Purple 35 (col 2, front) into slot 1, then Dark Purple 35 (col 3, front) and Dark Purple 30 (col 1, back). Brown 36, Beige 8, and three Dark Purple boxes fill all five slots.
- Let the three Dark Purple boxes (5, 26, 30) carry away Jasmine's dark purple hair. No boxes are tapped during this clearing sequence. The 400 counter block on the bottom pedestal drops to 203 while the hair thins out. All five slots remain occupied.
- As the three Dark Purple boxes deplete, the 400 counter block breaks open. Tap the linked Yellow 16 (col 4, front) and Blue 1 (col 4, middle) into slots 3 and 4, then tap White 35 (col 2, middle) into slot 5. Brown 36 begins harvesting the exposed pedestal, leaving all five slots active.
- Yellow 16, Blue 1, White 35, and Brown 36 finish clearing jewels, border, and the pedestal, leaving slots free. Beige 8 begins stripping the exposed face. Tap Light Blue 38 (col 3, middle), Dark Purple 35 (col 4, back), Dark Purple 35 (col 2, back), and White 35 (col 3, middle). All five slots are filled.
- Allow Light Blue 38, Dark Purple 35, Dark Purple 35, and White 35 to strip Jasmine's clothes, facial outline, and inner hair. Beige 8 finishes and clears its slot. The remaining boxes finish in turn, fully revealing the interior of the portrait and freeing four slots.
- With the 600 counter block on the right chocolate block broken, tap Brown 30 (col 1, front) into slot 1 and White 30 (col 2, front) into slot 2. Tap White 35 (col 1, middle) into slot 3 and Dark Purple 35 (col 1, back) into slot 4. Four slots in use.
- Brown 30 and Dark Purple 35 finish their targets and leave. Tap Beige 35 (col 1, middle), Brown 30 (col 2, middle), and Blue 1 (col 2, front) to clear the remaining dress accents and skin tones. White 30 and White 35 finish. Three slots in use.
- Tap White 35 (col 3, back) into slot 1 to clear the final cluster of white background tiles in the top-right corner. The box counts down to 6 and finishes the remaining blocks into the nest. All slots empty and the board is cleared.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the linked Yellow 16 and Blue 1 pair on the right before clearing hair → Yellow and Blue take up two slots while Brown 36 and Beige 8 already occupy two slots, leaving only one slot free and jamming the queue.
- Tapping Light Blue 38 before Jasmine's hair and white border are removed → Light Blue has no exposed blocks on the headband, so it stalls in a slot.
Quick tips for Level 402
- White boxes always have exposed targets around the outer edges, making them safe filler moves when you need to cycle the front row.
- Wait for counter blocks (400 and 600) to tick down to zero before prioritizing Brown boxes, as the bulk of the brown blocks cannot be carried away until the counters break.

- Layout

- Goal
- Clear all blocks from the pixel picture by feeding ant boxes into the five slots. Counter blocks at 400 and 600 require clearing that many picture blocks before they dissolve. No timer is present.
- Opening
- Slot 1 already holds White 35 while slots 2 and 3 hold stuck Brown 36 and Beige 8. Tap the front White 35 boxes to clear the outer border, then tap Dark Purple boxes into the remaining slots to begin stripping Jasmine's hair.
- Trap
- Tapping the linked Yellow 16 and Blue 1 pair while Brown 36 and Beige 8 are stalled in slots fills four of the five slots, leaving only one buffer spot and causing a softlock if Dark Purple hair blocks cannot be sustained.
- Mechanic
- Counter blocks (marked 400 and 600) count down by one for every block cleared anywhere on the board. They act as barriers that dissolve only when their counter reaches zero, exposing the brown blocks beneath.

Brown blocks are locked behind the 400 and 600 counter blocks, and Beige blocks form Jasmine's face beneath her hair. They remain stuck until other colours clear those barriers.
