Colony Flow! Level 169 Walkthrough
Clear a sponge character portrait using six colours while navigating linked pairs and mystery cheek tiles. Strip the outer yellow frame and teeth first to uncover the cheeks, then clear the eyes before deploying blue and black ants.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 169 — full solution
- Deploy Yellow 40 (front row, middle-left) into the second slot alongside the already placed Yellow 40 in slot 1, then tap Black 30 (front row, left) and Red 29 (row 2, left). These boxes strip the bottom yellow trim and begin removing the lower lip.
- Deploy White 22 (front row, right) into the third slot to target the exposed teeth. The first two Yellow 40 boxes finish carrying blocks and clear out, causing the active boxes to shift left and leaving two slots open.
- Tap the diagonally linked pair consisting of Yellow 38 (front row, left) and White 26 (row 2, center) into slots 4 and 5. Yellow ants clear the lower chin while White ants strip the outer eye borders.
- Allow the mouth clearance to break the grey mystery cheek blocks, revealing hidden red and yellow tiles so Red 29 can resume counting down without blocking slot 3.
- Tap Black 30 (front row, center) and Light Blue 15 (front row, left) into the open slots once the eye borders are breached. Light blue ants target the exposed irises while black ants strip the pupils and mouth outlines.
- Deploy Green 24 (uncovered in the stack) into slot 3 to remove the green pore clusters in the corners, then fill open slots with Yellow 40, Yellow 34, and Yellow 38 to strip the wide forehead and cheeks.
- Deploy the horizontally linked Black 30 and Yellow 40 pair, followed by Black 28, Yellow 34, and the final Yellow 40. Black ants clear the upper eyelashes while yellow ants clear the top row, leaving Yellow 1 to carry the last block.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Light Blue 15 in the opening → light blue iris tiles are completely encapsulated by white and black eye blocks, leaving the box stalled in a slot indefinitely.
- Deploying Red 29 before breaking the cheek tiles → only a tiny red lip strip is exposed initially, causing Red 29 to stall until the mystery blocks are destroyed.
