Colony Flow! Level 165 Walkthrough
Clear the snake mosaic by peeling away the outer yellow and orange background before tackling the serpent body. Manage linked box pairs carefully so two open slots are always ready when they slide in. Do not rush deep blue or green boxes while their blocks remain buried.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 165 — full solution
- Tap the Yellow 75 box (front row, second from left) and Yellow 34 box (front row, third from left). Ants peel away the large upper-left and upper-right yellow background border, freeing the outer edge of the frame.
- Send the Dark Purple 40 box (front row, left) and Orange 42 box (row 2, right) into play. Ants strip the surrounding purple border along the bottom and side, along with the exterior orange frame blocks.
- Tap the Light Green 20 box (front row, right), Light Green 25 box (row 2, left), and Green 40 box (row 2, second from left). They begin harvesting the exposed green skin along the serpent's outer coils while slots recycle.
- Deploy the Light Green 30 box (row 2, third from left) followed by the linked Dark Purple 46 and Dark Purple 35 pair (row 3, right two boxes). They take two slots simultaneously to strip the serpent's belly shading and lower frame edges.
- Tap the Cyan 35 box (row 3, left) and the linked Dark Purple 30 and Cyan 20 pair. They collect cyan blocks on the hood and snake crest, uncovering the yellow key embedded in the snake's face.
- Tap the Light Green 45 box (row 4, left) and Light Blue 34 box (row 4, right) once exposed. Harvesting these blocks releases the yellow key, which immediately unlocks the yellow padlock box in the stack to reveal Yellow 45.
- Tap the unlocked Yellow 45 box and Beige 33 box from the newly accessible row. Ants strip the remaining beige background tiles in the top-left corner and the last border highlights, opening the central snake torso.
- Tap the linked Orange 35 and Light Green 25 pair, followed by the Dark Purple 25 box and Dark Purple 20 box. The ants dismantle the serpent's inner coils and the lower tail segments.
- Release the Cyan 13 box, Light Blue 40 box, and Light Blue 25 box to strip the upper hood patterns and reduce the central counter block to zero.
- Deploy the Beige 40 box, Light Green 35 box, and Light Green 40 box to consume the remaining bulk of the serpent's head and midsection.
- Tap the Light Green 21 box, Light Green 20 box, and Cyan 50 box to gather the very last snake scales and complete the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the linked Dark Purple 46 and Dark Purple 35 pair with only one empty slot → linked boxes require two slots together and will stall or misfire if the bay is nearly full.
- Sending deep green or cyan boxes into slots in the opening phase → the snake body is insulated by thick yellow and orange outer margins, leaving green boxes stranded without exposed targets.
Quick tips for Level 165
- Keep at least two slots vacant whenever a linked pair reaches the front of the stack.
- Work from the outer frame inward; harvesting the border colours exposes keys and embedded numbers needed to unlock lower stack rows.
