Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 162 Walkthrough
Level 162 features a multi-coloured floral bouquet surrounded by an orange rim. Success requires peeling the exposed outer petals and stems with Cyan and Brown boxes before uncovering inner dark shades. Opening interior Black boxes prematurely causes fatal slot gridlock.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 162 — full solution
- With Cyan 50 already active in slot 1, tap the Cyan 48 box (front row, middle) and the Brown 88 box (front row, right). Cyan ants peel the exposed flower edges while Brown ants carry away the lower stem blocks.
- Tap the Purple 85 box (front row, middle) and the Dark Green 96 box directly beneath it. Purple ants strip the outer violet petals while Dark Green ants clear the bottom foliage, leaving all five slots active.
- Allow the first Cyan box to finish carrying its quota and vacate slot 2. The remaining Brown, Dark Green, and Purple ants continue trimming the border, revealing Light Blue inner petals and Orange border tiles.
- Tap the Black 117 box (front row, right) and the Light Blue 104 box (row 2, left). Black ants begin clearing the exposed dark shadows while Light Blue ants dismantle the bright highlights within the blossoms.
- Tap the Orange 20 box (front row, right) and the Cyan 90 box (front row, left). Orange ants target the outer right border while Cyan ants strip the central petal clusters, relieving slot congestion.
- Tap the Black 75 box and the Orange 25 box as the earlier Brown and Dark Green boxes expire. The bottom branches and outer frame clear completely, isolating the remaining central bouquet.
- Tap the Purple 40 box from the front row into the newly freed slot. Purple ants swarm the remaining violet blocks across the upper bouquet, rapidly reducing the cluster to a few scattered fragments.
- Tap the remaining Purple 40 and Purple 50 boxes from the stack. The purple ants carry the final blocks into the nest to finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Black 117 box in the opening → Black blocks are buried deep beneath the outer petals and stems, causing the box to freeze in a slot and choke buffer capacity.
- Sending Orange 20 before the right edge is cleared → Orange blocks only appear on the upper and right rim, risking a stalled slot if outer green and brown blocks block access.
Quick tips for Level 162
- Prioritize Cyan and Brown boxes early, as their blocks form the outermost layer of the bouquet.
- Keep at least one slot open when deploying high-count boxes like Black 117 to prevent sudden deadlocks.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A circular floral arrangement composed of Cyan, Light Blue, Purple, Black, Brown, and Dark Green blocks framed by an Orange outer crescent, with five slots positioned above the nest and stack.
- Goal
- Carry away all blocks in the floral picture using the ant boxes supplied in the stack.
- Opening
- Slot 1 starts with Cyan 50 active; following up with Cyan 48 and Brown 88 safely targets the exposed perimeter.
- Trap
- Deploying the Black 117 box before stripping the outer petals stalls the slot because all Black blocks start completely enclosed.
- Mechanic
- Ants can only pick up blocks touching the exterior boundary of the remaining structure; interior colours remain locked until surrounding blocks vanish.
Level 162 questions
-
What should I tap first in Colony Flow! Level 162?
Tap the Cyan 48 and Brown 88 boxes in the front row. They clear the exposed perimeter stems and petals without clogging your slots.
-
Why did my Black ant box stop moving on Level 162?
Black blocks form the interior shadow of the bouquet. If outer Cyan and Purple blocks still cover them, Black ants cannot find exposed blocks and stall.
