Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle level guide
Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 59 Walkthrough
Level 59 features a butterfly resting over two flowers against a sunset sky. Strip the outer white border, green stems, and orange sky first to expose the butterfly wings. Avoid deploying blue and purple jars early, as the butterfly core is buried behind black borders.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 59 — full solution
- Tap White 30 (front row, centre), Cyan 25 (front row, left-centre), and Orange 50 (front row, far left), followed by Purple 24, Blue 12, Green 10, and Black 10 in any order. The bottom white edge and top orange sky begin clearing; five bays fill with Orange, Purple, Blue, Green, and Black.
- As Orange, Black, and Green clear, release Pink 16 and Yellow 50 into the opened bays. Blue 12 and Purple 18 continue working alongside them. Ants eat into the yellow sky and begin nibbling the flower petals, leaving Green 3 and Blue 12 active alongside Pink, Purple, and Yellow.
- Deploy Cyan 12 and Black 10 to replace emptied jars while Pink 16 and Purple 18 finish. Ants clear the outer black contours of the butterfly and continue stripping the left flower head. Bays hold Pink, Purple, Blue, Cyan, and Black.
- Release Yellow 26, Pink 2, and Purple 19 into free bays as earlier jars deplete. Blue 12 and Cyan 12 continue eating outer wing sections. The lower petals and white background surrounding the butterfly thin out significantly, leaving five bays occupied by Pink, Yellow, Blue, Cyan, and Purple.
- Send in Black 53, Orange 31, and Cyan 9 in any order as bays clear, followed by Orange 34, Cyan 5, and Pink 9. Ants dismantle the thick black butterfly silhouette, the upper orange sunset banner, and lower flower petals, reducing the canvas count down past 250.
- Deploy Green 1, Cyan 6, Blue 16, and Yellow 14 as bays open. Focus on clearing the stems and right flower base until the green pixel counter drops to zero and vanishes completely. Bays transition to Blue 28, Pink 6, Blue 6, Blue 4, and White 17.
- Release Cyan 3, Blue 13, and Black 15 as blue wing sections finish and empty their bays. Ants strip the core butterfly wings and black body details, dropping pixels below 400. Bays hold Purple 4, Pink 6, Blue 8, White 26, and Yellow 38.
- Tap Purple 1, Yellow 65, Purple 10, and Orange 3 into open bays as the butterfly wings clear. Ants consume the upper yellow background and upper wing edges, leaving three jars in the grid and dropping the pixel counter to 213.
- Tap Black 35, Green 15, and Cyan 17 from the final grid column into open bays alongside Yellow 52, White 14, and Purple 9. The ants consume the final 60 pixels of yellow, cyan, and white across the board to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Blue 12 in the opening → the blue butterfly wings are entirely surrounded by black outlines and background pixels, stalling the jar in a bay.
- Filling all bays with background colours like Yellow 50 and Orange 50 simultaneously → leaves no room to deploy Black or Green jars needed to clear the stems and borders.
Quick tips for Level 59
- Always prioritize outer edge colours like White, Orange, and Green to uncover inner layers.
- Keep at least one bay open while cycling jars so unexpected stalled colours do not cause an instant lock.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- Five empty bays sit below an ant hole, positioned under a pixel canvas depicting a butterfly perched near flowers against a sunset sky. Beneath the bays, an initial 5x3 grid of 15 jars feeds in additional jars from below as columns clear.
- Goal
- Eat all 2700 pixels of the butterfly and floral scene by deploying matching colour jars into the bays until the canvas is clear.
- Opening
- Tap White 30 from the front row centre, Cyan 25, and Orange 50. These colors are immediately exposed along the bottom edge and upper sunset border, preventing stalls.
- Trap
- Tapping Blue 12 or Purple 24 before the flowers and outer butterfly outline are cleared will stall them in the bays because the inner butterfly wings are completely blocked by outer borders.
- Mechanic
- Pixels must be exposed along outer edges or cleared borders before matching ants can harvest them; jars in bays count down one by one until emptied.
Level 59 questions
-
What jars should I tap first on Level 59?
Start with White 30 from the front row, Cyan 25, and Orange 50. Their matching pixels sit directly on the exposed edges of the board, allowing ants to feed immediately without blocking bays.
