Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle level guide
Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 56 Walkthrough
Level 56 features a ballerina pixel portrait composed of seven colours. Win by peeling the outer tutu and outline layers before tackling internal facial details, keeping at least one bay cycling constantly. Avoid deploying large yellow or beige jars early, as their pixels remain blocked until late in the solve.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 56 — full solution
- With Black 42 in bay 1, Lilac 27 in bay 3, Brown 30 in bay 4, and Yellow 3 in bay 5 active, tap Yellow 40 (front row, center) into empty bay 2. Tap Purple 51 and Purple 20 to clear the skirt, followed by Yellow 28 (front row, right) into bay 5.
- As Yellow 28, Lilac 14, and Black 15 deplete and leave their bays, tap Black 40 (front row, left) into bay 1. Tap White 20 (front row, center) into bay 3, then the second White jar into bay 5. The white dress and limbs begin clearing; two bays remain occupied by Yellow and Brown.
- Once Black 14 and Yellow 9 clear, tap Brown 20 (front row, right) into bay 1 and Lilac 20 (front row, center) into bay 2. White 20 and White 10 continue stripping the tutu and legs down to single digits; Brown 18, Brown 20, and Lilac 7 continue clearing the torso.
- When White 3 empties from bay 5, tap Black 22 (front row, left) into bay 5. Black ants target the hair and facial outlines, counting Black down to 9, while Brown 17, Lilac 7, and White 6 finish stripping the ballerina's limbs and skirt.
- After Black 9 empties from bay 5, tap Yellow 33 (front row, left) into bay 5. Yellow ants begin eating the exposed yellow hair halo, reducing Yellow 33 to 11, while Brown 15 and Brown 12 continue whittling down the body outlines.
- Once Yellow 11 completes its count, tap Black 40 (front row, center) into bay 5. Black ants eat away the dancer's facial outlines and hair borders, counting down to 20, while Brown 7 counts down to 4 and Lilac and White hold at 1 and 2.
- Tap Yellow 80 (front row, center) and Beige 20 (front row, right). Lilac 1 and White 2 finally clear their last pixels, freeing two bays. Yellow 80 strips the upper hair down to 36 and Beige 20 eats the face down to 7; one bay is completely free.
- Let Yellow 36 in bay 1, Beige 7 in bay 2, Brown 2 in bay 4, and Black 16 in bay 5 consume the final yellow hair strands, beige forehead, black eyes, and brown mouth. All active jars drain to zero, clearing the board completely.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Yellow 80 while the dancer's dress is still intact → yellow hair pixels are heavily blocked by the black outline and tutu, causing Yellow 80 to stall in a bay for most of the solve.
- Deploying Beige 20 before the ballerina's bodice and face outlines are eaten → beige skin pixels are completely enclosed, permanently clogging a bay.
Quick tips for Level 56
- Keep at least one bay free or cycling quickly so jars do not stall while internal pixels are still locked under outlines.
- Prioritise clearing black outline and white dress jars first to expose the large inner yellow and beige pixel clusters.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- Ballerina pixel art on the upper board with a five-bay rack below it, positioned over a jar grid layered several rows deep.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels of the ballerina pixel portrait across 5 bays.
- Opening
- Start synced at frame 0:24 with Black 42, Lilac 27, Brown 30, and Yellow 3 already feeding into the bays. Deploy Yellow 40 into the single free bay to start stripping hair and background pixels without stalling the queue.
- Trap
- Tapping Yellow 80 or Beige 20 early stalls in a bay because their matching pixels are buried deep beneath the dancer's tutu, bodice, and hair outlines.
- Mechanic
- Exposed pixel priority dictates ant movement; ants only collect matching colours along uncovered borders, meaning internal colours like the ballerina's skin and facial details cannot be gathered until outer layers clear.
Level 56 questions
-
Why do my jars stall during the middle of Level 56?
Certain colours, like Beige and Yellow, are enclosed inside the black ballerina outline. Clear outer outline and dress jars first to expose those pixels before tapping high-value inner jars.
