How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 453 — full solution

  1. Tap the White 30 jar (front row, leftmost), the Blue 42 jar (front row, second from left), the Blue 42 jar (front row, third from left), and the Orange 24 jar (front row, rightmost). Blue ants immediately start devouring the outer background frame, occupying four bays.
  2. As the first Blue jars finish, tap the Blue 18 jar, White 10 jar, and Blue 72 jar as they surface in the front row. The outer blue sky border clears out completely, opening access to the dragon's horns and the corner decorations.
  3. Deploy the Orange 11 jar, Red 9 jar, and Yellow 10 jar into the freed bays. These strip away the outer edges of the dragon's snout, horns, and jawline, exposing inner White and Hot Pink pixels.
  4. Send in the Hot Pink 16 jar, Cyan 3 jar, and Cyan 7 jar from the front row. They chip away at the upper scales and the exposed edges of the digit 5 while the Red and Yellow jars continue clearing the mouth and face.
  5. Tap the Dark Grey 12 jar, Dark Grey 30 jar, and Orange 31 jar. Dark Grey ants begin stripping the heavy outlines around the dragon's eyes, horns, and teeth, freeing up deeper facial blocks.
  6. Tap the Yellow 35 jar, Yellow 32 jar, Yellow 58 jar, and Red 24 jar to wipe out the bulk of the dragon's yellow head and snout. This opens up the underlying White teeth and central cyan number.
  7. Deploy the Dark Grey 51 jar, White 10 jar, and Orange 37 jar into the bays. Ants chew through the eye borders, forehead contours, and remaining jaw pixels, clearing almost the entire dragon face.
  8. Tap the Dark Grey 84 jar, Hot Pink 57 jar, and White 5 jar to dissolve the purple-pink mane scales and remaining white eye segments, leaving only the central digit 5 and residual outline bits.
  9. Finish by tapping the Cyan 23 jar, Dark Grey 41 jar, Red 6 jar, Red 1 jar, and Yellow 40 jar. The ants consume the remaining digit pixels and tiny leftover fragments to complete the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Hot Pink 16 jar before the outer Blue and Yellow borders are cleared → Hot Pink scales are deeply embedded under the dragon's mane, causing the jar to stall indefinitely in a bay.
  • Sending multiple Dark Grey jars too early → Dark Grey outlines are mostly buried behind yellow facial pixels, clogging the rack and triggering an out-of-moves loss.

Quick tips for Level 453

  • Always exhaust the large outer blue border jars first; blue pixels surround the entire perimeter and will never stall early on.
  • Wait until the dragon's yellow face is significantly stripped before tapping dark outline jars.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A large square canvas featuring an oriental dragon coiled around a cyan digit 5 on a blue sky background. Beneath the ant hole sit five bays and a jar grid feeding new rows from below.
Goal
Completely devour all pixels in the dragon and number 5 illustration by deploying matching coloured jars into the bays.
Opening
Tap White 30, both Blue 42 jars, and Orange 24 from the front row. Blue pixels form the entire outer perimeter, guaranteeing immediate countdowns.
Trap
The Hot Pink and Dark Grey jars are deadly if triggered before the outer yellow skin and horns are cleared, as their pixels are strictly internal.
Mechanic
Concealed layers require peeling the picture from the outside in; jars feed continuously upward from the reserve queue as front jars are consumed.

Level 453 questions

  • Why do my Dark Grey jars stop counting down on Level 453?

Dark Grey pixels represent internal outlines around the eyes, teeth, and digit. Clear the surrounding yellow and white face pixels first to expose them.
