How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 450 — full solution

  1. Tap the front Dark Grey 40 in column 1, followed by Yellow 30 and Orange 40 as column 1 feeds jars upward. Send the emerging Red 29, White 8, Grey 14, and Blue 3 into bays 1 through 4. Ants chew through the outer dark framing and peripheral accents, bringing the pixel counter to 1256.
  2. Allow Red 29, White 8, and Blue 3 to finish. Tap the revealed Red 14 from column 1, Yellow 35 from column 2, and the incoming Brown 10 and Grey 58 into the open bays. Ants strip additional border sections and yellow highlights down to 1133 pixels.
  3. Once Yellow 35 empties, tap Orange 40 from column 1 into bay 1, where it gathers exposed body pixels up to 53 counts while White 7, Brown 10, and Grey 58 continue working. Orange ants strip outer torso pixels, lowering the counter to 1022.
  4. Let Orange clear, then tap Dark Grey 40 from column 4 into bay 1. Ants chew down the upper-left and right dark boundary pixels alongside White and Brown ants, reducing the board count to 917.
  5. As Dark Grey and White empty, tap White 40 from the grid into bay 2 while Brown 6 and Grey 58 finish their counts. White ants attack the fighter's belt trim and gloves, bringing the target count down to 799.
  6. Once Grey and Brown finish, tap Red 18, White 20, and Beige 50 from the front rows into the free bays alongside White 37. Ants eat into the red wristbands and beige skin under-layers, dropping pixels to 692.
  7. Allow White 37 and Beige 50 to complete. Tap Dark Grey 46 into bay 2 while Red 18 and White 20 clear exposed trim. Ants strip the bulk of the remaining dark outer frame down to 537 pixels.
  8. Unlock the fifth bay as the central area clears. Tap Lilac 24, White 15, Orange 32, and Yellow 12 into the open bays alongside Red 18. Ants eat through the inner chest muscles and shorts waistband, dropping the counter to 312.
  9. Clear out completed bays and send in Orange 36, Yellow 23, White 6, Light Blue 8, and Yellow 1. Blue and yellow ants strip away the shorts and central face highlights, reducing the remaining pixels to 98.
  10. Tap the final jars—Yellow 21, Orange 25, Dark Grey 31, Light Blue 1, and Brown 4, followed by Lilac 2—into the empty bays in any order. The ants consume the last remaining chest and face pixels to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Beige 25 or Brown jars before peeling away the outer Dark Grey border → Beige and Brown pixels sit deep inside the character's body, causing those jars to stall in bays early.
  • Filling all four bays with Orange and Yellow before exposing the torso → Orange and Yellow ants can only reach a few border pixels, clogging the bays and causing an early loss.

Quick tips for Level 450

  • Focus on Dark Grey jars first because the dark background frames the entire sprite and must be stripped before interior pixels become accessible.
  • Keep at least one bay cycling rapidly with low-count jars to prevent gridlock while long-count jars like Grey 58 finish.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel portrait of a muscular fighter sits on the upper board. Below it are five bays (four active, one locked with an X) and a 5-column jar grid feeding upward.
Goal
Clear all 1500 pixels of the portrait using matching coloured jars.
Opening
Tap column 1 jars to expose feed-in colours and deploy Dark Grey, Red, and White into the bays to immediately strip the outermost frame.
Trap
The fifth bay is initially locked, leaving only four bays. Committing multiple high-count body colours like Beige 50 or Orange 40 before clearing the Dark Grey frame locks up the rack.
Mechanic
Columns feed new jars upward from below as front jars are tapped. The fifth bay unlocks as the middle layer of the picture is cleared.

Level 450 questions

  • How do I unlock the fifth bay in Level 450?

The fifth bay opens automatically as you clear the middle layers of the portrait around the 300-pixel mark, giving you five active slots for the final stretch.
