How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 403 — full solution

  1. Tap White 30 (row 1, column 1) and White 34 (row 1, column 4). White ants begin stripping the bottom outer border of the music player frame, exposing the purple control buttons and the bottom edge.
  2. Tap Purple 24, Light Blue 15, Blue 15, and Yellow 20 into the bays. Purple ants immediately consume the rewind, pause, and fast-forward buttons on the player bar as White 30 finishes clearing.
  3. Tap Yellow 19 and Black 20 from the front row. Black ants strip the player frame outlines and lower borders, while yellow ants eat exposed progress bar pixels, counting down Black 20 to 6 and Yellow 20 to 9.
  4. Tap White 30 and Orange 15 as columns shift up. White ants clear the corner stars in the upper background, while orange and yellow ants continue stripping the chick outline and player controls.
  5. Tap Yellow 28 and Yellow 24. Yellow ants swarm the chick's body, clearing the main yellow fill while White 3 empties from the third bay and frees up an empty slot.
  6. Tap Orange 4, Cyan 5, and Light Blue 15. Orange ants consume the chick's beak and cheeks, while cyan and light blue ants dismantle the headphone earcups and progress bar.
  7. Tap Yellow 12, Yellow 17, and Black 31. Black ants eat the heavy headphone band outlines and eyes, while yellow ants finish the remaining cheek and headphone highlights.
  8. Tap Purple 10, Purple 10, Cyan 1, Cyan 10, and Blue 10. The purple background wings and the blue headphone cushion pixels are eaten away, leaving only the headband structure.
  9. Tap White 20, Dark Grey 35, Hot Pink 8, and Purple 30 from the final column positions. Ants consume the remaining headband pixels and frame trim to finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Yellow 19 on the opening board → Yellow pixels are completely sealed inside the player frame, stalling the jar in a bay until White is cleared.
  • Tapping Black 20 before the white border is gone → Black outlines cannot be reached from the outside, wasting a bay slot during the opening.
  • Filling all five bays with Blue and Cyan jars early → The headphones are buried behind the chick's head and the background, causing a deadlock.

Quick tips for Level 403

  • Always target the outermost border colour first to expose interior pixels as quickly as possible.
  • Keep at least one bay open when queueing jars that have only a few exposed pixels.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture depicts a yellow chick wearing large headphones inside a music player interface. A grid of jars arranged in four columns feeds upward into five bays.
Goal
Clear all pixels of the chick music player portrait by matching jars to exposed pixel colours.
Opening
Tap White 30 and White 34. White forms the outer edge of the frame and is the only colour immediately exposed on all sides.
Trap
Yellow 19 sits directly in the front row at the start, but tapping it early locks a bay because all yellow pixels are buried inside the white frame.
Mechanic
Jars sit in four columns. Clearing a front-row jar shifts the next jar in that column forward and makes it tappable.

Level 403 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 403?

Tap White 30 and White 34 in the front row. White is the outer border colour and clears space to expose the purple buttons and chick.

  • Why is my Yellow jar not eating any pixels?

Yellow pixels belong to the chick, which is completely surrounded by the white player frame. Clear the white border first to expose them.
